hmmm.....it seems that dropping the FSB from 185 to 180 has seemed to solve the problem, though I don't know why. I was also able to drob the CPU voltage from +0.35 to +0.25, although that didn't seemed to make any difference with the reboot problems.
As the topic states, my system will only reboot if I shut down and cold boot. Restart from windows or hitting the reset button only results in a black screen. I'm thinking it is either from a weak PSU, my recent O/Cing, or a combination of the both. Comp is prime95 stable and does not...
ccording to the pics on Newegg, the card should have the five mounting holes around the ram chips for mounting aftermarket coolers. The one I picked up at BestBuy does not. Does anyone else have the same issue with theirs?!
EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the part numbers are the same, but...

UPDATE: I managed to fina a company in Bromsgrove, Worcs UK that sells the blocks I'm looking for.
Bad news is that they only accept orders from the UK.
C&C Central Ltd.
Waterblock or passive block, I'm open to suggestions either way. Problem is, I haven't been able to locate any type of block to fit the K8N northbridge other than the one I've linked to above.
Lets not turn this into a point, counter-point on the advantages or dis-advantages on additional blocks in a cooling loop.
HardWarrior, I apprediate what info you've provided thus far. I've done some searching for SNT-Systems and haven't really been able to find any current...
Well, I managed to track down both Northbridge and a MOSFET waterblocks from a company in Germany.

Blocks mounted on board
Now I just need to find a way buy them here in the US.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've looked just about everywhere I can think of, and can't find Northbridge or MOSFET Water Blocks for my K8N Diamond Plus.
Edited for content.
Bought one last week. Great case, not as big as the Stacker which is what I was looking for. I'll post some picks of it with the rest of my system after I finish gettting it built.
Silverstone has a modular PSU with 4 12v rails. I haven't been able to find a review of it and the only place I've seen it listed is FrozenCPU.

....and I thought that it was just me that was having that problem. I have yet to figure out the problem or how to work around it other than not to update nero at the moment.
