Jeff7, do you know how much money you have to make to be liable for taxes? I made some computers for some friends in the past and got paid. I guess I'm wondeirng if I need to pay taxes on that.

Is making WAVs or sound files legal?

What's the best TV tuner

does anyone have any experiance with a TV tuner card in recording from a VHS tape? I bought a VIVO Leadtek card and it won't let me record VHS tapes. When they are saved, a white bar covers the majority of the screen. Has anyone recorded off a VCR tape successfully with any of these TV tuner...

Best video recording software to use with Radeon AIW?

I have a leadtek a180 vivo card and am having issues recording on vhs tapes. while I try to record all the tapes have a white bar that goes through the entire screen. Is this the program and macrovision? Can I download a different program that won't do this, a patch? Thanks.

Missing Ram Problem

VIVO DVD and VCR recording

Yes, I figure that is what I will do in the end, but the DVD recording aspect is as important to me as the VHS recording. That is why I am curious about the TV tuner card. DOes it do something special so it can record dvd movies? Can anyone recommend a DVD ripper program? Thanks.

Anyone have a ATI OEM Radeon 9000 Atlantis vivo?

Very slow bootin in XP home

Well, I just added a 512 mb DDR stick to my motherboard to see if that helped and I got no perforamce increase at all. Boot wise I mean. It is still around 40 seconds. I mean jeez, 768 mb of ram should be good for something heh.

Visiontek GTS-V problem, purple colors

Well, I solved the problem ^_^. It turned out a wire was bent that was connecting with the video card. Strange how one will little can turn things upside down. My monitor looks dull now that it back to normal heh.

Thanks for the advice mem. The video card has an onboard fan, I don't know how much it is helping though lol. I also have two case fans. One incoming and one in the back outgoing. I have no other places for fans. Is there any way I could mod the case? I have no experiance in this area...
