Internet Exployer Favorites menu bar Look How to ? customize ?

As an alternative to IE I use a small browser called Flash Peak Slim Browser, that allows you to set up groups for favorites, even so far as opening the group all at once. Maybe this browser could help you out. Jest a suggestion :)

What is the best GeForce4 Ti4200 to buy?

I went with the abit siluro Ti4200 128MB non-OTES when it was 120 at newegg, just got it and LOVE it!!! Very nice card, blew away the Radeon 8500LE 128MB card i had in here, even tho that is a nice card too, and even better price/performance LOL.:D

should i get a new video card with 64meg or 128megs of video memory?

;) Personally I like my nvidia card, but couldnt help but notice that the 128 Hercules Radeon 8500 is only $129 @NewEgg with Free Shipping, and excellent deal :)

My MSI K7T Pro 2A died. Good replacement?

I have the ECS k7s5a and I really like the board, very very stable, i used 256k of pc133 until I was able to upgrade to pc2100 DDR ram and have had no problems with either configuration. I recommend the ECS board for now until the kt400's come out, or until AMD makes a 133 fsb athlon :) Good...

USB Header for ECS K7S5A?

I'm looking for a USB Header that actually works in the ECS mobo, i had one from an epox board, didnt work, a friend got the 10 pin one from new egg, that didnt work either, and now i had to be on a hub, whereas i would prefer just to have a header in the back or, possibly find a way for the 2...

Best socket A mobo for xp 1800+ under $100??

I recently built a system with an ECS K7S5A board (~$55) and I love it. AMD 1600+ works great, however, I have also heard very good things about the Shuttle AK31A with Via kt266A chipset, and also the Shuttle AK35GTR also with Via kt266A and ATA 133 (both sub $100 boards). Good Luck! :)

K7S5A Arrived yesterday....and *EDIT - I'm a Dork!*

I have to say that some ppl here seem to get all hyped up about brand loyalty... And also that I just built an ECS K7S5A system (see Champ in my rigs) and it went beautifully. I did end up changing the cpu hsf, but that is no fault of the board, the retail hsf that came with the Athlon XP 1600+...

Norton's defragramenter vs. default Win 2000 and Win 98 defragramenters

I have used both Norton Utilities 4.0 and Norton Utilities 2002, and for win98 i really like the Norton's 4.0 defrag. Running win2k right now, and Norton's 2002 defrag seems ok, but i think MS's defrag is ok too, both defrag about the same way and at the same pace. If anyone knows what Nortons...

AMD ATHLON AND MECHWARRIOR 4 on XP

Would this problem also relate to the expansion pack for Mech Warrior 4? I have the esxpansion, with win2k, and everytime i install and run it, I get an illegal error and it closes without starting.... thanks for any help you can provide :)

I recently installed point release 1.31 for Q3 Arena, now the timedemo's are gone, where did they go? And where can I get them back, went to the patches, mods site, didnt find any timedemos are they still in the game, and if so, how do I get to them, and if not, where can I d/l them? Thanks :)

Can my Chieftech PSU be the source of my "FF" problem with EPOX?

With an epox mobo, the FF means that the motherboard has cycled through its codes and sent the process on to the operating system. When the OS is up and running the FF code will stay right there on the mobo, meaning, all is well...continue computing... :)

:o I have just bought the retail AMD athlon XP 1600+ from New Egg with an ECS K7S5A mobo, and I am curious as to what brand of hsf comes with retail athlon xp's. any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Also, will this be enough to keep it cool, with no o/c'ing and a side and back case...

Is there a way to make a image CD that will restore windows while keeping all the data?

I have used Drive Image to make backup CD's for my OS and all the apps that i consider must have's, as well as drivers and such. Having built the system, i usually have to go through a 3 hr marathon to load all the drivers for everything and all the goodies that i just have to have on the...

Win2k problems/questions...Win2k gurus please take a look.

I am using win2000 with via kt133A, (Epox 8kta3) and I have no problems. Using sb pci128, old nasty vid card (TNT2 16mb), 30gb HDD, ide 4X4X32 cdrw, 50x cd, 512MB Corsair ram. Did I just get lucky or what?

win2k vs win98se primarily for gaming

I have gone from win98se to win2000, within the past two weeks myself, and my games seem to run just fine on it, found drivers for my steering wheel, gamepad and joystick, and love the stability :) I say with current drivers, win2000 is at least as good for gaming as win98se, and stability...

Still using a V3 2000 on the old pII 233 and using a 16 tnt2 on the new duron 800, and i prefer the v3... cant wait to get a newer card, still debating on kyroII or g2 pro 32mb (similar price points).

I do in fact use all 10 fingers, however, I have a bad habit, in that I have to look at them when I type. But its still faster than 2 finger hunt and peck style :)
