Newegg.com seems to have removed all of its nForce 3 Ultra motherboards... I wonder if there has been a slight problem with the chips? I ordered on for my father in early December for Christmas (K8N Neo 2 Plat.) and it had TONS of problems. We finally deduced that it was assigning IRQs to...

    Poor taste in an article...

True... I do find popup ads a LOT more annoying... but to incorporate it into your content... Poor taste in an article...

I just feel that this type of ad is in poor taste. To me, it lowers the quality of the site, just as it would any site. "Hidden link ads" remind me of the warez sites out there that have succumb to the all mighty buck... not that I would know about warez sites... ;-)

    Wininit.exe

Yeah, I would try looking in the MSConfig file for the "vbs" file and for the wininit.exe file. The virus (which BTW the vbs file is a virus) has made itself HARD to remove by adding a registry addition. I would try the MSCONFIG trick I told ya about. Thanks.

    Wininit.exe

Actually, Wininit.exe is a program in the windows system. Not a virus. Most likley, another program added it to your registry boot section. To view the files that load on boot, goto Start-->Run--> and type msconfig. That will bring up a config window, and you goto the tab marked...
