WiFi Issues at the Office

Are you saying that 128-bit WEP isn't secure enough? I have tried the most recent 3com drivers; although there is an update to the firmware i may try. Thanks again, and please let me know if you see any security issues. Thanks.

No Promise Controller involved -- so the HD only runs at ata/33 -- I am thinking it might be that Diamond Card w/ win2k. Although ATI's site says there are no problems. Anyone here have any other ideas?

Refresh Rate / Geforce2MX / Gaming

How come when I play games it always defaults me to 60hz refresh rate? I run my display @ 85hz refresh normally. Everytime I run a game, however, it ends up running @ 60hz. This is harder on my eyes. All help is appreciated.

Would i see a decent performance upgrade by o/c'ing my PC2100 CL=2.5 DDR ram on my MSI K7 Master to 150mhz? Liek 150 mhz w/ a multiplier of 9 or 9.5?

Hercules Game Theater XP

One of the best sound options available on the market. Can't beat it for performance; a lil pricy -- but definitely worth it. I was using one earlier last month and it is beautiful.

Crucial DDR RAM question..

Crucial generally has more stable / o/c'able memory. It does have a CAS Latency of 2.5 You can find other MICRON memory that will run at CL=2, however I would stick w/ crucial for price/performance.

Newest 4in1s, and I STILL get sound cut out/crackling with my SB Live!

Then how come Geforce2 lock-ups are related to it? I know I have gotten it to work before w/ my ASUS A7V -- It worked fine after this. Same solution to that situation is not working here.

western digital drive is clicking -- will it be ok?

SMC Barricade & mIRC Identd

:| Problem: I recently purchased this SMC Barricade Router (7004BR) and set my personal comp. up as the DMZ. However, still when I try to logon to mIRC the identd does not work. This is bad for me because most (if not all) efnet servers require identd. HELP!! Thanks.
