Problem with new 1.4 tbird

Maybe check to see if your HSF is mounted correctly, and get rid of the factory compound on the HS, and use AS2. But, other than that, I dont know what it could be, good luck to you.

How to network one to one ?

no. it's a different cable...just go down to your local computer store and tell them what you want to do. They should be able to tell you the right cable to buy.

Am I getting a normal CPU temp?

Thanks for the advice. I'm using just a generic case right now. I saw that it had an area for another fan, but I didn't know if it was nessesary. I'll look into getting it, so I can achieve that stream effect, and hopefully it'll take my cpu temp down a notch or 2.

Hi, I have a 1.2 Tbird with a GlobalWin Fop-32 (I think thats what it's called), and Actic Silver 2 Idle, I'm getting about 51-53C Full Load (This is with non-stop hours of playing CS), I'm getting ~59C And I'm not even o/c'ing Is this normal for my cpu? it seems a bit on the hot side to me...

Poll: Which to upgrade first: CPU or video card?

I say go for a CPU upgrade, it'll affect you more. My fried has a P3 550, and hes using a TNT1 (yes thats a 'one'), and he still plays CS fine.

heatsink/cpu questions

Paint thinner works great for cleaning off the factory compound. I'm not sure about the whole 900mhz thing, but I would suggest getting a bigger power supply for all the things you have connected.

I just bought a computer, and I'm getting a weird symptom

OK, sorry about the confusion. The Computer is getting the problem, nothing wrong with me, I'm at perfect health :) What I mean is that when I'm playing games ( CS, Red Alert ect.) eventually while ingame, the game will exit completely and I'll end up at the desktop. But it isn't like the game...

I just bought a computer, and I'm getting a weird symptom
