Who has a PDA?

My most recent one is a Sony Clie NX70v. I use it at night to read ebooks (since I don't need the bedside lamp on, hence, no bothering the wife). Occasional mp3 listening, games, contacts/appts, bible study, etc. I was really surprised after I bought it how much I actually ended up using it.

Why does AT continually reccomend MSI motherboards despite the reliablilty problems?

The only MSI board I've ever owned (Master2FAR w/ dual 246's) has served me quite well. I've had no problems with it at all.

opinions about lacie ? also anyone know what hdds/opticals they use ?

Not sure what hdd's they use, since I haven't taken my 250GB apart yet, but I can say that I'm very happy with it. The only issue I have is that the power cable doesn't plug in as firmly as I'd like, but overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

I've been unable to try them without a modded .inf since they don't support the 6600 series. :( I'm pretty close to giving up and just leaving the G450's in there. However, I'd definitely rather have the two 5200's.

Hack Request

Thanks for the reply. I know they're not the best, but somewhere around that series the drivers lost the ability to run AGP+PCI with the 5200 series, and I'm not sure why. Those two monitors are not for gaming, so it doesn't concern me too much that they're not top of the line. Anything's going...

6600GT Not Playing Well With Others...

rpm, Thanks for the advice. I hadn't tried those drivers, since the 6600 series cards aren't supported that far back. Any idea if there's a modded .inf for that set somewhere? The reason I'm even messing with all this is I'm running three monitors, and they all need to run off their own card...

6600GT Not Playing Well With Others...

Posted this on another forum, just thought I'd see if anyone here had any ideas: Installed a 6600GT AGP, and it works great. Added a 5200PCI and the whole works blows up. I can sort of get the 5200 to work if I set PCI as primary, but it 'infinite loops' on me pretty often, while the AGP...

If you want to split hairs, fine. I'm sure there's probably a Harley part or two in the bikes. They are not, however, merely "customized Harleys". From your own argument, it sounds like you're doing more to bolster my point than yours. Regardless, OCC, (as has been mentioned) gets their engines...

do you usually change spark plug wires when changing spark plugs?

Everytime I do a tuneup on the truck, I change plugs, wires, (8.5mmTaylors), cap, & rotor, as well as do a compression check. It's just a habit I've gotten into since it's an older engine (164000)

Gatlinburg Motels

It was either Heritage or Riverside that my wife and I stayed in during our wedding. Our balcony overlooked the river, (like RIGHT over the river). The room itself wasn't anything special, but the view was beautiful, nonetheless.

YACT: A/C blows out hot air half the time..

Another thing you could check is if the AC equipment is properly shielded from the heat coming off the engine. Not sure if this is as much a problem in cars as it is in my truck, but I had the same problem recently. Got to digging around and found the heat shield had slipped down, leaving the AC...

Yet ANOTHER UPS Sucks Thread I guess I'm just like everyone else, had nothing but trouble with UPS, but this one takes the cake. Had a delivery attempted notice on my door yesterday, no big deal. I work until 5:30, so I'm never here when they deliver. So, long story short, I get off work early...

is there a new virus out, b/c i just got back an email that i never sent....

klez does that... never run into that exact wording before, but it may be a variant or even a completely different virus that does sorta the same thing. Try d/ling the utility from Symantec's website for the klez, and see if it finds anything.

What's the 3D Satellite Map/Image system called that CNN used whle covering the war on Iraq?

Naw, it was that thing NVidia partnered with awhile back. It's a free download, but something like $80 bucks a year to keep. It was pretty cool, but got old kinda quick.
