Need help please read.

Well the system powers on, and the fans turn on, fan on ATI card turns on, dvd drives power on. its just strange the hard drives dont fire up unless the IDE cable is un pluged. The power supply is 450 wts. Can the computer show the post screen with bad HDs? At one point when I had all the add in...

Need help please read.

I have a problem that I cant seem to fix, I updated my bois and the computer would not boot or even post, so I bought a new MB from a member here thinking that would cure the problem but it didnt. Heres the thing, I install everything and the system powers on but nothing happends,no post or boot...

Can someone tell me how to make my own login screen for XP?

Well im useing SP2 Beta and ive used Login Loader to install downloaded Login Screens without any trouble, so if the above doesnt work, at least you guys tryed to warn me........Thanks.

3dMark03 wont start?

I have a GF-4 Ti 4200 Epox MB 512 PC133 TB sound When I start the bench, the screen that starts the bench just barely flashes then im back at the desktop, heres what ive done. Installed the 41.09 det(tryed all the Dets) installed DX9 installed the newest VIA 4n1s installed newest TB drivers...

n00bie question: Win XP -> Win 2K LAN networking?

I have the same setup, I have a PC card comming for my laptop(Win2000) and a PCI 10/100 comming for my desktop(Win XP), the guy also sent a Crossover cable(I guess a Direct connection cable is wired different) but I know nothing about networking and need to know what I need to do...

DirectX 9 is out!!!

It messed up WMP and DviX player for me, no difference in games or 3D Mark, had to get the patch for 3D Mark to get it to work. I have a GF4 Ti-4200. I did a sys restore to get back my WMP and DviX cant be without them.

Switching from GF2 Pro to Radeon 7500 - Question!!!

I went from a CL GeForce2 Ultra to a 7500 with out any problems at all just by using the Windows add remove programs to uninstall the det drivers. All hell broke loose when i went from the 7500 to the 8500 though.

I up graded from ME to XP and had it save the ME settings, now that XP is running good how do you remove the ME info?

GOD!!!!!!!!!!! Think you pISSant ive been trying to make this go away for 4 hrs, cant believe how simple it was, and Ive posted on 2 bords this same question and have many replys but yours was the one that worked.......thanks........

XP@Home upgrade wiped out desktop icons.

Just go and add short cuts for you programs, click on the EXE for the program and slect send to desktop as a sort cut, I believe XP power tools also has something in it to put your regular Win shortcuts to the desktop.

12.41 and Coolbits

Just copy the leaked 12.40 drivers NVCpl.dll file into \Win\System32\ directory. Enables coolbits Still gotta have coolbits enabled in the reg for it to work though. Thats what ive seen work.....

Abit KT7A + Hercules 3D Prophet II Pro = No video on boot

Just with the very first Prophet's, thats why the other guy in this post stated that they told him to send the card back, i would guess they would replace it, or maybe flash it .

Yea nothing would come up when started the computer,but wait a few seconds and Ctrl Alt Delete and see if it comes on.

As i recall this was a problem on the first Prophet Pro boards and not with the newer boards, i went back to a Radeon so i havent keep up with the problems with the two, but ill try to find out for you guys. Also go to www.rage3d.com and check out there forums.

Abit KT7A + Hercules 3D Prophet II Pro = No video on boot

I cant rember the fix but i had the same problem, but if you start to boot and wait about 5 seconds then Ctrl Alt Delete to restart it will boot like it should at least it did for me.

Good Radeon Review

I to went from a GTS Pro to a 64 Radeon, and the Radeon is a great card and im glad i switched, i see nothing wrong with the benchmarks at all. The Radeon is not that much slower that my Pro was. I do see much better scores when i overclock my Radeon (210-210)than it shows.

Radeon 32 ddr vs RAdeon 64 ddr

Ive had each of theses cards,the 32 meg i had ran at 190 so theres not a big differnce in the speed untill you go higher than 1024x768 than the 64 meg is faster, and hits the HD less.
