    well i initially did a full format, then cancelled it midway. after the reboot then did a quick format....realizing after the format was done, that i formatted the wrong drive. Thanks for the assist!

    8600gt or 7800gt or alternative $100 card??

    Need advice:) TV does 720p/1080i...native resolution at 1366 x 768. Tried the 8600gt and im not too impressed...will the 7800gt be any better? Or is there an alternative sub$100 card there?? Thanks!

    Thanks for the tip but still same thing. Moved the RAM around, tried 1 stick only and same problem. Moved the SATA connections on the HDD and same thing as well. Switched the fan RPM control to the highest and still the same. I will try to uninstall all non essential software and see what...

    Need any ideas on how to solve this problem. Once i restart the system, it goes to load windows and after about 5-10 seconds reboots. One thing i did which is weird is if i move the mouse continously while loading windows, it wont reboot. am using AOL virus shield, scanned and is all ok...
