The KR7A manual says the u can use up to 3 gigs of unreg. mem. or 4 gigs of registered. It is runing fine with 2 sticks. So it is not worth it for me to send back. Everything else on the board is great. I guess I should have done a bit more reserch.
The customer service is great at mushkin. But I am having a problem with a stick and the support reply I recieved was -
>the kr7araid works fine with a single unbuffered module installed - 256
>or
>512...
>when installing more than one, sometimes two - definitely three -
>nothing
>works...
This is the almost exact prob I am having with my kr7a and mushkin pc2100. I have 2 256 mb chips an on 512. Mushkin claims it is the mobo. I think ist's the ram. right now I am runing 256 and 512. When I stick the second stick in i t still only recognized 768. I does not mater which slots the...
I have the abit kr7a and 1gig of mushkin basic. The board will only recognise 768. I thought the ram was bad but mushkin says it is the board. And he also said he was suprised that the ram worked at all. I guess the mushkin basic is pretty low quality.
I would have to say go with the sparkle, because people usually recomend what they have. In my case I have been happy with 300w for about 3 years with no problems. If I do upgrade it will be the antec true 480. It's about twice as much though. Just depends on how much you should spend.
The splitter sounds like the way to go for two fans per switch. Just dont exced 6w. And whatever you do dont plug it in when the comp is on. I blew out one of the switches that way. Dumb I know.
Have him bring it over and try it out. Let your ears decide. I just went from a sb live non 5.1 to the turtle beach. Quite a bit better sound. And the software is nice and simple. It has a versajack that can be used as a digital out, headphone jack, analog in and out. I plan on running my...
Just got a civic ex coup for 14,888. Must say it is quite a nice car. Price included abs, sunroof, and slightly more hp vtec engine. Check all the cars out on cars direct. com. The prices they post are pretty low. Oh yea make sure you test drive them.
Just paint the drive covers they pop off easily and two or three coats or krylon metallic paint will look better than the alum covers from lian li. I had one on my floppy and you can still see allot of beige.
The Lian Li PC 65 is the way to go. The slide out mobo tray is worh the $$. If you have beige drives I recomend krylon metalic spray paint. Looks great.
I live in CA and usually order from Newegg. I was wondering if their are ane retailers ouutside CA with the same or close reputation? Oh yea and prices!
I thougt exactly the same thing. Then on the abit site they said vivo was available as an option. I still don't know if this is a different card they are talking about. Or something that can be added on.
I am interested in buying this for 225 for Newegg. The abit website claims their is an optional vivo available for this card. Where is this option available?
Thank you for you responses. Here is something I found in another fourum.

I also have a PC mods fan bus w/ the for switches. I was planing on using it to quiet down the delta fan in use w/ my AX-7. Do you use the bus to control your cpu fan? I am scared that it will accidentaly get switched to the off position. Causing instant death to the ol 1800.
I went with krylon primer then krylon metalic paint. Two coats of each and sanding in between. The drives look great. The krylon paint is quick drying so the project was done in about 4 hours.
