Offline files 2 gig limit in WinXP

Anyway to override WindowsXP's 2 gigabyte offline files limit? You can drag the slider under offline files to well past 2 gigs, but once you hit OK it reset to the 2 gig max.

Hotfix Uninstall Directory

Where does WindowsXP hotfixes place uninstall (backup) information? I selected backup current files when installing the hotfix, but now don't need it taking up space.

Duplicate email removal from Outlook Express 6 PC

It's not with a Hotmail or MSN account. I'm using the POP3 server that my University Provides. Leave a copy of the message on the server is checked, but there's only one copy of the message on the pop3 server, but outlook keeps downloading it multiple times. I need to keep this option...

Windows ICS & unreachable websites

Has anyone else encountered difficulties in reaching certain websites while using Window's Internet Connection Sharing? I currently have a WinXP box with ICS enabled. When other computers on the network try to reach say weather.com they are unable to, while the ICS server connects just fine.

Linksys BEFSR41 router new firmware bug?

i was using 3.9 till 1.42.3 came out. I wanted UPNP support so i could transfer files via msn messenger without having to expose my computer via enabling DMZ mode on the router. So has anyone else been experiencing problems with 1.42.3?

Linksys BEFSR41 router new firmware bug?

Has anyone had trouble using tracert behind the linksys BEFSR41 router with the new firmware 1.42.3? Block Wan request is disabled, but tracert still times out. Tracert used to work with ver 1.39a of the firmware. Also MSN messenger ver 4.6 now periodically logs off with the latest firmware...

Memory Problem on a Soyo Dragon Plus?

As soon as you turn on the computer, hold down the "insert" key and keep it held down till u see something on the screen. Hope this helps.

Soyo Dragon Plus issues

Do you have Video Init set to PCI or AGP? I'm running WinXP and it had trouble rebooting if my bios was set to AGP init first. But a quick change to PCI fixed this issue (PCI is the default setting). BTW i'm running bios 2ba1.

Problems with AIM in XP Pro.

i've noticed the same problem with 4.7.2480, but for me it works most of the time. Occasionly though on a reboot the icon will not appear. Don't know what causes it, but hopefully AOL will fix it in their next release.
