Just note, this will not natively do 1600x1200, it specifically says 1280x1024, so if you want a higher res for this size you will not want this one. LCD's looks best at their native, and are kind of blurry outside of that.
That said, this is a good deal.
I got my pillow, and my wife stole it ASAP.
We got out bed as well. Someone asked above why not get a top layer for our existing bed - and that is simple our bed was quasi-broken.
On to the pillow. I also got one at Costco, and the Sharper Image holds form a little longer from what I saw...
This is kind of ripped from FW, but with a special tweak that gets you some nice extras for little money!
Best deal I've seen recently on a true Color Laser Printer. Here is how.
Go through Dell's Small Business Peripherals and select color laser printer links.
Select Magicolor 2200 DeskLaser...
That makes a lot of sense on the explanation on refresh rates. Why in the world do people make such a big deal about an LCD running 85hz or something like that. I guess I can sound cool and say I have to 17" LCD's running at 160hz LOL.
I am not sure how this works, but for grins since I saw in the manual that the optimal for 1280x1024 is 60 OR 75 hz, I went ahead and tried some higher frequencies..... and they ALL work GREAT! I right now on my Dell Dimension 4300 am running a Radeon 8500 dual head at 160 hz YES One Hundred...
You should check out the $399 one that is for sale at Compusa (thread is called $399 LCD). If those are your needs - you could save $250 - or get two (I know the math does not work out, but I have two and WOW).
I have 2. Just some more information: The time as laid out in the manual is 40ms. That being said, it did great with a DVD. I have fresh set of eyes after a great sleep - and it is a VERY sharp display - if you have blurry problems clean your glasses, set the Resolution at 1280x1024 either...
VBboy. I am not sure - it seems to hvae a fairly responsive screen. Do you know of any good tests to try it out? I must say this LCD is rather nice now that I am staring at it - and my expectations were WAY low!
OK guys. I stayed up to hook one of the ones I got up. Here are my *Preliminary* observations.
1. The name on the monitor in the box is KOGI - might help us find a review.
2. The color and brightness are VERY good. It appears to me to be VERY sharp!! VERY sharp - even better than my...
Has anyone got this and seen how good it is yet? I am tempted to go pick up a few Our local CompUSSR has about 75 in stock... They had it and about 12 others on a REALLY bad Video splitter - even the MAG and Sony's were all blurry, so I could not judge the clarity or responsiveness. I will say...
I am not sure how I "got around it". I do know that OfficeMax delivers from their stores in my city (KC) so it could be that they are just delivering it from a store to my home and one to my office too :)
I just looked at Costco.com and could not find the pillow. Is it possible it is gone?
Also, Atrac - I just ordered the Sharper Image deal (not too bad there). You said it was pretty good, right? I figured worst case I could return it as Sharper Image and Brookstone both have great return...
I doubt the shelf life on the pillows - for the mere fact that Tempurpedic and others have a 10 or 20 year warranty on their beds - and they are made of the same material. IMHO here :)
You can buy this online - I just bought two of them!!!
Find the link for the $50 off of $250, and the prices and rebates are all on the page. Search for SYS LCD on the front page after clicking through the $50 Coupon.
Well,
I just decided to go with the abed.com Wellington. It is a mix of the latex and memory foam - and has a FULL REPLACMENT 20 year warranty. I also got the european slat system that I have read is a great thing (made out of 22 beechwood slats for each side that are individually...
Since this is talking about foam pillows - I thought I would ask. I am looking at a Foam bed.
Specifically I have found three different options:
1. The Bed from Sam's (Item 326928) - Thought I must admit I am confused of Latex versus Foam since they have one at the same price.
2. One from...
This game rules! Age of Myth looks awesome as well. Played the beta and WOW is all I can say - you get to choose the path of the gods you worship which totally change the attributes of your society. Add to that magic, and heroes and it is great.
Greetings,
I am not sure how hot or not this is, but I was looking for some parts and ran across this drive ( 9gb SCSI Hard Drive 80Pin st19171wc ) Here for $14.50 each. Says 162 in stock. I do not know anything about the seller, but I thought I would share the deal in case it was hot for...
I thought it was a good deal until the saw the advertisement on the last page. It is like pouring gas on an open flame. Look at the PDF version and see what I mean.
On the Bill Gates question, remember that he owned stock from 1978 and it split, oh say 20 times in its life... and he had nearly half of the stock and he continue(s) to get options....
Oh, also, he does work nearly every day and is a FT employee - and works WAY over 40 hours a week.
OK. I have seen threads here about other KVM deals, and I posted this same deal about 4 months ago, but it is gone so I figured I would do it again, and since buy.com has two coupons out for $10 and $15 (not stackable) this is an AWESOME deal for a Belkin KVM set with NO AC ADAPTER needed (for...
This is not so hot.
YOu can go Here to buy.com and get a BELKIN 4-porter for $63.72 with free shipping. Nice part of it is NO AC ADAPTER!!!
Then, add to your cart This for $23.86. You have to pay shipping, but look for the coupon for $10 off (hint hint). Grand total $87.58 + shipping...
If you do not need the USB part, you can get a Belkin E-Series KVM that is 4-port PS/2 for around $70 and cables for less than $25. The best thing about the Belkin is NO AC ADAPTER!!! Search at Buy.com for Belkin KVM and you will find the E-Series one.
I ordered a couple using the one time CC number. I also printed out the page to show NO mention of refurb or any other fees. This is SMOKING hot as the next best price was in the $300's easily.
I wonder if they are any better since they are USB, no analog signal and some power. I can not see how they can be too bad if they are truly digital as it takes out the noise you get with most cr@ppy speakers.
Flashburn: That weekend there was 15% off of EVERYTHING in Home accessories. They change frequently.
tphong: ON your RAID comment, I agree that SCSI ROCKS, but IDE is about 1/4th the price - it does have lower performance, but I saive 75% or so, and get the reliability, and more speed than...
OK, I will follow your rules not to compare to the worlds favorite office suite, but if I did I would have had a lot to say about how StarOffice sucks really bad and is as unstable as Office 95, an MS is like 3 versions forward from that. Maybe in 8 years I will look at it if Sun still exists LOL.
Check it out here:
PMOTD
