I have an ASUS M5A99FX R2.0 motherboard with a 1090T. I use it for an ESXi host. Is the FX 8320 worth spending $99 to upgrade? I don't overclock. When I search for "1090T vs. FX 8320" the consensus is it's not worth upgrading, but the discussions are about gaming as well as from some time...

Warm: Optra E312

The cartridge is a 1.5K starter, so you'd spend about the same as the E312, but if you need one, you'll find the E312L easier than the E312 in the chains. For laser printers I prefer to buy local rather than getting one shipped to me. I also needed one quickly, which does rule out mail order.

Dell does issue the warranty. They charge tax on the warranty as a local company is subcontracted to provide the warranty labor. Of course I got charged tax on my I8000 as well since I live in Texas.

Yes, gunf1ghter, I understand the evolution of language, but that still doesn't mean I like hearing slang. Plus, "shiznit" is gangster/rap slang, so hopefully that will not survive. I believe that if there's a word that already exists, use the word instead of creating a new one.

Yes, Pink Floyd is still great, but they aren't "the shiznit", since that phrase would be used to refer to some current flash-in-the-pan singer or group that some people might like. Using "the shiznit" in the same sentence as Pink Floyd is an insult to Pink Floyd.

Vincent, a Linux router would be much more flexible than the Linksys router. I set up a Linux system as a router and server. I don't know what your housemate is doing wrong, but it was real easy. If you'd like you can PM me with any questions on setting up a Linux router.

I just got back from Staples. I was able to pricematch even though they called the local Office Depot to verify price. I think OD locally told them the price was still valid and available. I had called the same OD yesterday and was told that the phone was orderable from the store.

I've picked up two of these from CompUSA with a pricematch. I had to go to two different CompUSA stores as each one only had one card. The first one spent some time trying to figure out how to get out of the pricematch, but I used the receipt from the first one to easily pricematch at the second.

Cyzern System 7000, built from a kit. 16K RAM, 2MHz Z-80, cassette storage. It was a TRS-80 Model I clone (with a few improvements). Followed later by a TRS-80 Model 4 with 128K RAM and two floppies (SSDD, upgraded to DSQD).
