Lost taskbar along with all desktop icons!!!

but yes, explorer does not load at start up any longer, any suggestion on how to reload it. Restarting does not work.

Hi all, i have a big problem, i was helping my brother install google desktop and my computer shut down on me. When it restarted, my desktop came back with no taskbar nor any desktop icons!!! i cant right click or anything, nothing loads, i can access teh task manager and launch...

Brag!!! About 3 months ago my 160 gig maxtor went down on me, so i RMA'ed it....got my new drive. However, since i had recently reformatted my computer with 2x120 gigs i didnt really need my 160 gig. n so just last week i got a enclosure case for my 160 gig, n formatted today (11-29-04)...

my Maxtor 160 shows up at 130?

i know formatting takes some space, but not 30gigs i was reading the installation manual, and it says taht i have to upgrade xp to thelatest patch, and install their maxblast 3 software, but i am sure that i can do it another way. it also mentions getting a ata card, but trying to get aroudn...

my Maxtor 160 shows up at 130?

i set up my new maxtor drive n it shows up at 130 rather than 160gig? not sure why? it hought it was the bios but i just upgraded to the latest one, i have a P4, n i dont' think there should be any issues? can anyone help?? baaka

P4 issues HELP!! on Chip i got directly from INTEL!

THe mobo has teh SIS648 chipset, i was running a 2.4 fine till i switch it to my cuz which i got today via UPs and all... so i guess i may not be able to do anyhting?

hi, i just build a new computer for my cousin who got a chip from INtel (through another cousin who works at intel) anyz today i put the chip in and all but it doesn't register as an intel p4, it's suppose to be a P4 2.4 533mhz and all?? THis is what it shows wehn i check the cpu properties...
