watercooling would probably be a lot easier than nitrogen. That's a hefty OC - good luck with it. Make sure to post the results when you're done. I'd love to see them.

can't run properly at 100fsb, why?

Wow. that does seem a little strange although I don't know if I understand your question correctly. You are saying that your PC forces you to lower fsb in order to install a program but once it is installed, you can run it ok with the fsb back at 100?

I want a 10 x 133 tbird--would 1 gig 200 work for me?

It will be tough to get a 1 Ghz chip to post at 1.33 GHz. Trust me, I tried and the highest I got to with my 1GHz was 1.26 - and it crashed all the time. I'd reccomend getting a 1.1 or a 1.2 - the prices are very good right now. A 1.2 chip runs at 9x133. You can easily get 10x133 from it.

converting intel system to amd system?

Power supply and cooling will be you rmain concerns. 300W at minimum plus an AMD approved HSF. I fyou plan on doing any kind of OC'ing, get a good aftermarket HSF such as the ThermoEngine, Vantec, or GlobalWin Fop 32. If you are going to do some hardcore OC'ing, get the Delta 38 fan as well.

I suspect a weakened PSU. I had thaqt happen to me all the time before I got my Enermax 330W. Try a different one and see if your situation improves.

Lian PC-70 case does NOT have a Slide-Out Motherboard tray!!!!

The only BAD thing about those cases is that the PSU enclosure is closed at the bottom so if you have a PSU with a secondary intake fan at the bottom (like Enermax) you will not benefit from it at all. You can always cut out a hole of course :)

Do I really need a heatsink and fan for the Tbird.

Some mobos won't even let you tturn on the computer unless you have a working fan hooked up to the CPU fan header. There is a reason for that. T-Birds will fry within seconds if they are not properly cooled.

When overclocking, how much voltage should I add per MHz increase?

For FSB overclocking, increase the I/O voltage. It;s very touchy so feel it out. when overclocking the CPU, raise the Vcore by .025V for every 100MHz over the default speed.

maybe your CPU WAS 800 but you OC'ed it so much that now it's just tired :) and it only wants to do 700. My car aint what it used to be when it had 20K miles cus I beat the crap out of it.

So, in the BIOS, under CPU speed, do you set it to 800 or do you select user define and manually set it to 8x10? Also, have you checked what the CPU core says?

Hmm - it appears that when OC'ed, you had it at 7.5x137 right? So non OC'ed, that Duron should be set to 8x100. At some settings the ABIT mobos do not accept half step multipliers so a 7.5 multiplier will default to either 7 or 8 for 700 or 800 MHz. Whats's your multiplier at?
