Which video card has the best bang for the buck

ATI 8500 APG Appeture size

I changed my AGP to 128 from 64 and gained 300 in 3d20001. Now I didn't figure it to increase that much. Got me wondering. I went from 7998 to 8314. Hey I don't know but I am not complaining. Darren

I ust put a similar system together Xp1700 gigabyte mb and a Radeon 8500 OEM Have played Ghost Recon Diablo2 Return to Castle wolfenstien Links 2001 so far all is flawless , I am running Windows xp on a clean install. Can't recommend it enough. Oh used powerstrip and bumped mem and clock to 280...

Two Linksys BEFSR41 V.2 questions - it's working but was too easy.

Did you manage to get file sharing working? I have the same set up and got the broadband access working right away but I cant get the file sharing to work. Any ideas ,or how yours is setup? Darren

Your windows xp boot time

20-25 seconds. My specs are 512 mb ram and a WD 7200 rpm on an XP1700 I only have a few things on start up like my Gygabyte utility , Norton2002 and a viewsonic app (hey its a week old) I have to admit I love to bash Microsoft but Xp really is a great product Darren

OPINIONS: 8500 vs Ti200

O/C or Flash My Radeon OEM

I just got my new machine up and running all is well. I have a question I am using Powerstrip and have the card at 280/280 with no problems. Will I get anything more worth trying for from the flash utility out there. What are the results from peoples experiments from the flash utlilty D

Newbie question

I was wondering how different brand motherboards with the same chipset and set up the same can vary up to 5% on benchmarks. I assume the bios has a lot to do with it but does the actual layout of the board make a difference?

Noticed something weird. How come this is the only sight with an Nforce review up? has NV given different NDA to different sites? And will Anandtech update there reviews when further Bios and drivers are available. I am very curious to see how the performance increases with updates.

Thanks for the replies guys. It was the Twinbank architecture that was nagging at me and you answered it. (coudln't quite remember) Now if Nvidia drops the prices on GF3's and this comes out on time . I finally may have timed a new computer purchased correctly!

How to copy mp3 titles

My mistake. I should have said bad players not the games themselves. I love flying online in F4 and USAF but got sick of being killed by my own side in games like Q3, Diablo2 and Counterstrike. I guess I need to join a good clan but that takes time (something that work doesn't allow )Solo games...
