Thanks for the link. I do have network scanner and it is a pretty good program. The problem is I would have to monitor this constantly to use it for my purpose. I need something automated that can send me total number of users each night if possible.

I have been hunting high and low for what I would think is a simple solution for counting wireless users. I want to be able to count the unique number of users that are utilizing my public wireless network each day for statistics. At this point I don't care about bandwidth, sites visited, etc...

Urgent: Fad not working after cleaning out computer, now getting outrageous CPU temps

I would guess that either, as others have said, you forced some dust into the sleeve or possibly you forced the fan to spin at a very high RPM when blowing air into it damaging the bearings or the motor itself. I usually hold the fan so it won't spin when blowing air at it so it doesn't spin at...

Man, that's a good deal. I ended up with an i5 2500k and a Gigabyte Z68 board for $220 after rebate last weekend. Might have went the AMD route and saved me $100 if this was available then.

Yeah Hot Deal... At least compared to the prices as of late. I tried to buy a couple of these for a RAID 1 setup and by the time I was ready the prices tripled. At this point I think I'll wait till the crisis is over, but this is definitely 'hot' for those that need a drive right now.

After reading countless reviews of DOA drive and of comments about people opening the boxes only to see a bare drive floating around with little or no cushioning, I'll pass on buying a drive from Amazon.

Dutch beer (Fresh & Easy)

I thought the Big Flats was extremely bland tasting. It wasn't bad, just plain. Doesn't hold a candle to PBR imho. Of course at $3 a sixer, you can't expect a whole lot. Too bad no Fresh and Easy stores near me or I'd certainly try the Dutch beer. :(

Fishing without a license

I think having to purchase a license to fish is just plain wrong. However, I do buy one every year and the DNR does, for the most part, do good work to support fisheries and wildlife. The finesfor fishing without a license can be very costly so, while I despise having to, I buy a license...

I am not giving AMD a pass here as they are as guilty as Intel in changing sockets and platforms over the years. I am still on a 939 so I get it. I am hoping that AM3+ is here to stay for a while so that a drop cpu upgrade may be a possibility down the road if needed without having to rebuild...

The best safety is between your ears. And congrats on your XD purchase. They are fine guns. Btw, I always keep my mags loaded. Unloaded mags and guns do me no good if I need to use them in a hurry.

I just purchased the 4GB version and I like it. For the price it is very nice. Of course it is now a few bucks cheaper and has a $15 rebate vs the $10 that I got. I paid about $8 more but still a good deal.

For the money it is hard to beat the Savages. They are accurate, dependable and affordable. The Stevens are a nice no frills gun as well and are made by Savage. I would agree that the Simmons scope that comes with the package guns is not great but would probably get you by for a while until...
