Thanks to that link I got a list of locations that I didn't even know existed. Apparently there are 50 participating Baskin Robbins within 10 miles of my house, 6 of those are within walking distance.
Too bad there aren't more Ben & Jerry's near me.

The regular price at Circuit City is $1,099.99, but until March 30 there will be a $100.00 Toshiba mail-in rebate, a $100.00 Circuit City mail-in rebate and a $200.00 instant rebate.
That brings the price down to $699.99 after rebates.
I signed up for this a few months ago and while I didn't get to read it very often, it is probably worth the free trial.
Just so you know, these guys call me every other day (no exaggeration) asking if I want to renew my subscription.
<< Thanks for the post...Does anyone know if SM is discounting heavily on merchandise on their website too? >>
You can't shop on their website anymore.
Thanks for the info! That sony one sounds pretty good. Question - I see one rebate from Sony but the BestBuy one seems to have expired. Do you know of a different one?
I got mine from a former Kozmo.com B&M. They had about 400 new ones they never got to use so I got them free. I guess you could try the same with a video place near you.
Or you could check this place.
<< It wasn't the toughskins so much as shopping in the 'Husky' section... >>
Thanks, fishsocks! I couldn't put my finger on it but you nailed it. I was starting to think I might need therapy.
LOL
Thanks for the input Theopilus.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything at Dell or Gateway that is close to this in price with a 14" screen. If anything, they are a couple hundred dollars higher with similar configurations and I've found Gateway to be more expensive than Dell in some...
<< Reminds me of a comedian that I'm misquoting:
"You know the world is coming to an end when there's a Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks!!!" >>
I think you're talking about Lewis Black. That was hilarious!
In NYC there's one in the Barnes and Noble across from Lincoln Center...
So far 34 cases have lasted me a little over 6 weeks.
One question, has anyone bothered to redeem the cans for the deposit?
I've done this twice so far and both times I got cans that I couldn't redeem. As far as I can tell, they have to mention the deposit on them and then there is a barcode...
I bought a pair of Nike Air Trainerposite online Wednesday at 1AM, came to $76 with shipping.
They just came this morning via Priority Mail. That was fast!!!

I had to check it out for myself a few minutes ago.
<< Holy cow...the only size they have for the Ken Cole shirts is a 17 for the neck.
"beefcake...BEEFCAKE!!!" >>
Hey! I'm 5'11" 240 and I wear a 17 34-35.
I don't consider myself beefcake!
I'm real man sized. Ha ha!
Just a tip, if you're kind of broad shouldered or just big boned...
I remember reading in the yellow pages here in NY that *67 doesn't work when you're calling businesses.
According to this page caller ID blocking doesn't work when calling 800 numbers.
I don't know what everyone's complaining about, Popeye's is the best fast food chicken place here in NYC.
Thanks mrbentley, now I know where to get coupons.
forcesho, it might be worth it to just visit the stores. whenever i've called and they said they didn't have any, by the time i got down there there were plenty in stock. in the union square store ask the guys at the register in the book department, in the times square store go down one flight...
<< kevin, nevermind, it's their stupidity not programming the POS machine to calculate the discount automatically. >>
Yeah, any time you have to trust the cashier to know how to use a calculator you're in trouble.
<< So who'll earn the tax difference in this game? irs, virgin, ae, or us...
My apologies to kingofcomputer I didn't fully understand your receipt or the way you explained it.
Just to clarify for anyone who feels cheated by their cashier, there are three ways that the discount can be applied.
First one:
price of the item + tax - 30% = final price
$300 + 8.25% (ny...
Kingofcomputer, whether they calculate the discount based on the subtotal before tax or after tax, you're going to get the same result. It's when they don't discount the tax that you end up being cheated.
Just visited the Union Square store on Monday, they didn't have any Xboxes but I was able to get a couple of PS2's - they said there was no limit but I didn't want to be too greedy. They said they get more shipments in throughout the day so you have to keep checking back at night and in the...
Now that Detroit finally won, they're wondering if they can use the Best Record Guarantee from Blue to PriceMatch their losses here or at least get back the first 12 games once January comes for using MSN Passport.
I think the Vikings should get thrown out of the league for allowing the Lions...
I'm probably going to one of the stores in NYC this week, before I go I was wondering:
Which store is most likely to have the PS2 in stock? People keep mentioning that when they call up they're told that nothing will be in for a week and a half to a month. But I can't tell if this is in...
Has anyone noticed that the Sony KV-32HS20 is not an HDTV? It is HDTV capable but for you to enjoy HD programming you would have to buy a receiver, which would cost a few hundred more. I still think this is a great deal on a great TV, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew what they were...
