I was in CC picking up the episodes pack for Half Life 2 and decided to get Portal.
It was labeled at $20, but rang up for $10. CC's website shows it at $10:

A fun puzzle game for $10.
This is my last attempt at buying anything from Dell. I want to do
business with people that actually want my money ...
Nice of them to cancel the order after Emailing me that it would be
shipped next week!
I have 2 of the mva panel monitors. Think I'll give this new one a try out
for $230+tax. OM allows 14 days to return it if I don't like it. Should be
OK for general work and gaming, but I like to watch videos and TN panels
don't look so good at wider angles.
Walmart and Costco show this monitor as 1440x900. However, the only 20" LCD on Soyo's website is the
model DYLM2086 and the Soyo website lists 1680x1050 in the specs:
Soyo DYLM2086 monitor
The limited viewing angle suggests a TN panel. Nice price if they'll accept the coupon.
The specs. for both laptops indicate that they don't have DVD burners, just drives that burn CDs.
I might checkout the CompUSA Acer since 512MB is enough to run Linux.
It comes with a DVI cable. I asked at the local Office Max and it was a 14 day return policy. I would
suspect that the local store would take a return if you have the paperwork to show it was purchased
within 14 days.
My Topaz-S has developed one "sort of dead" pixel. Sometimes it's off...
The monitor is the Soyo Topaz S: MT-GW-DYLM24D6
There is no mention of HDCP, neither on the box nor the manual.
I've been playing with mine for the past half hour. No stuck/dead pixels. Even backlighting and overall visual impression
compares favourably with my Acer AL2416W. The stand is a...
Yes. Do an online stock check for some other item in your zipcode.
In the address bar, look for a field starting with "skuid=" or "skuld="
and edit it to the sku for the Acer 22" Monitor: 8357645
I just did that and 1 of 6 stores in my area shows stock.
I've been able to work around this on the BestBuy site. Do a search for some other
item, then change the sku in the search result URL and search again. Works for local
stock on the "In Store Only" items.
I hate to mention coupons, there are just so many excuses the retailers use to not apply them to what I want to buy.
Maybe one of them will eventually issue a "No Fine Print" coupon "Good for XX percent off *anything* you buy". That would be great....
I just received a Best Buy ad yesterday. Didn't open it, but it looks like the usual
%10 off or %12 off with Reward Zone coupon set. YMMV, but *if* you can get %12
off, Best Buy has the Panasonic 50" plasma HDTV for $2000, so it would be $1760
plus any tax. Free shipping too.
$22 for shipping is a bit rich though. Total to me is $110. I'll wait for another open box deal.
I have 2 sets right now and I love these speakers, the best "bang for the buck" I've ever had.
I got my order about 8 business days after they Emailed me saying it was shipped. I got the 2GB iPod Nano knockoff.
PigPony's site was down over the weekend and I notice that the player I bought went up $10 in price....
The player does have 2GB. I tested with a couple of files that used up...
Ummm... the "rebate" requires you to use a service of some type for a month and
then cancel. Otherwise, it's something like $12.95/month for the service.
"Try PrivacyGuard® with the first month, Risk Free. You will then be eligible to claim your Cash Rebate. Unless you call toll free to...
Well, December 6th has come and gone. Here's hoping that the 20th is the release
date.
Amazon is listing release as January 1. Hope that's not right, but with all the legal
fighting, it's probably the real bet.
It's speculation at this point, but here's what I'm seeing:
The WalMart picture shows a 'Viore' badge, black on silver, on a black set with
2 silver buttons on the lower right corner.
The Viore V42PD45M/S is an HDTV. It comes in black/silver, but has the 'Viore'
badge as silver on black...
I've replaced the batteries once, but mine's still blinking :D
I'll pre-order from Deep Discount, but Amazon says it's out Dec. 20, not the 6th.
Hope DDD is right on that one!
I just picked up the display model in Lakewood, CO. I can still get 'hits' online for other stores in the Denver area. My price was $136.01 plus tax, they took off $30 for a
display model plus not having the box with UPC for the $20 rebate.
It's a fairly decent monitor, a little dim but that...
I have a Soltek with the VIA C3 processor. It runs Knoppix and Damn Small Linux just
fine. VIA has also just freed up source for it's drivers under Linux:
VIA Embedded
DSL Linux has an option to copy the compressed filesystem into memory. With
512MB of ram, the Soltek does a very good...
I bought the BFG 6800GT OC for $399 - %12 'Preferred Customer Coupon' = $350. Add the cost of
HalfLife 2 ($55) and you can get the combo this weekend for $405 if you received the coupons in
the mail.
