Trying out Intel

I've been an AMD enthusiast for a few years, and I'm considering trying out an Intel chip. I want to do it mainly for comparitive reasons, so I think I'm going for a Celeron 800, and I would like an Intel board (I'd like to avoid VIA). Any recommendations on a board?

Radeon review inconsistancy

10 sets is all? ;) I have a Radeon LE, it performs equally as well in win2k and winme, I usually just use the latest beta drivers that are out for it.

my old v3 2000 pci

This is something I've been wondering about for quite a while. I've had a V3 2000 PCI for over a year now, and it always worked fine. It was originally in my k62-333 machine, then last fall I put it in my duron 650. Around christmas-time, it just seemed to stop working. All I got was a blank...

Kryo II ocing

Out of all the reviews I've seen, I think everyone gets about 3mhz more out of it, so I wouldn't really expect too much.

Help me make a decision

I have a Radeon LE and Windows 2000, and I've had no problems whatsoever, so I'd recommend the Radeon 64mb :)

Win2k, V5, Dual P3, only 60fps in q2?

You said it jumped up to 260 fps, didn't you? I wouldn't worry about if it's only seeing one chip or not, with those frame rates...

Geforce2 MX 200 powerful enough?

I have a Radeon LE with a Duron 650, and I can play games like Quake III at 1024x768 with 32 bit color at 60+ fps.

How well should a G400 scale with a P3 1Ghz proc?

I wouldn't count on it doing much at all, the G400 wasn't at all designed for 3d gaming. It might be playable, but that's about all.

Don't Bet On Radeon SE From Newegg!!

Are you sure it was an SE that you ordered? I just checked and didn't see it listed anywhere, and I've never seen it on there before (I check quite a bit). But if that is what you ordered, just return it, they can't advertise one thing and then give you something else.
