capybara, I'm also waiting for Xandros to release something to the public. Corel was my favorite distribution, but it's really getting old. I'm currently writing this from Mandrake 8.2. So far, I like it, but I'd like to see what Xandros comes up with before I commit to Linux and drop Windows.

Win XP Support for 3dfx Voodoo3 Cards

I've been using a Voodoo3 2000 PCI card with XP RC2 (2526). I haven't had any problems, though I'm sure the default driver installed isn't optimized.

Yes. You will have to re-activate Windows XP after a reformat and reinstall. Sucks, doesn't it?

Which matched Celeron pair can reach 100FSB easier?

You'll want to use the Win2k drivers. The installation for XP contains a lot of drivers so many of your divices may already be supported.

dell p3 733 upgrade to new 900 celeron?!?!?!?!

Most of the older slot 1 motherboards have multiplier that maxes out at 8.5, while the celeron 900 uses a multiplier of 9x. Please check the specs of your mainboard before considering just a processor upgrade. If your board can't handle a 9x multiplier, you might be beter off with a Celeron...

Abit BE6 and Win 2000 ?

I'm not as confident as Noriaki. I have an Abit BX6, which is also based on the BX chipset. So far, I've been unable to install Windows 2000 with this board. However, you might have beter luck than I have, since your board is newer than mine.

I can't boot with LS-120

Have you checked your other bios settings? Your LS-120 needs to be set as the "primary" or "first" boot devices.

:D I like WinMe. I use WinMe for my home computer, and Win2000Pro for work. I've found WinMe to be faster, and more stable than Windows 98. I especially like the fact that it boots faster. I wish Win2000 would boot so quickly. Others seem to have had bad experiences with WinMe, but for me...
