The only thing $50 will get you is more memory; however, it would have to be SDRAM because your board won't support DDR. So wait until you get $75 and get an SIS 735. Then you can add pieces as you get money. And don't rule out doing landscaping or even doing some builds for a local computer...
Depends on your processor. There are two versions. The 1.0GHz 200, and the 1.0GHz 266. The second number refers to the Front Side Bus (Double Data Rate). I would start with a 7.5 multiplier and a 133 MHz front side bus. This will give better performance than a 100 MHz bus.

The problem with NEWEGG is that they charge a seperate shipping charge for each item. It would be better if they charged you for your total order. Also the shipping charges seem kind of random. That said they seem like a very reputable outfit.
The 1.4 would probably give you better overall performance now; however, the MP chip would probably be cooler in both senses of the word. Also, I see no reason why Epox would not implement the SSE at some point.
Hey Hard Add,
I thought I was doing well running my 1.0 GHz @1.4, butr that is only a 40% increase. You have yours up to 75%. I wonder if there is any way you could get to 100%?
Keep trying man.
