It's sort of a pointless question. Yes you could evolve something which could even do interesting things (for example, an "early" example of a program in Lisp (~1973) was able to teach itself numbers, addition, primality, etc. based on the length of lists), but if you don't want to give it any...

What should I get, R9500 or R9500 PRO?

DF BS???

I think that we all like it when the folds fly by quickly. Still, not much we can do about it... the client is pretty heavily tweaked out and I'm sure that even the slow proteins are valuable, science-wise. It's going to take us quite a while to hit the 10 billion fold mark on this protein...

I can't seem to figure this recursion example out..how do I sum an array recusively decomposing by n/2?

umm... int doStupidSum(int *array, int n) { if (n <= 0) return 0; if (n == 1) return array[0]; int split = n/2; return doStupidSum(array, split) + doStupidSum(array + split, n - split); } and this really should be in the programming forum and not OT.
