Norton System Works 2003 for $2.99 AR

Thanks for the post. I ordered my right away. Last year I got the NSW 2002 for about $15 and considered it a real deal. This time it was much better at $2.99 In case someone doesn't know, NSW also includes 1 year of free updates for the virus scanner .

K7ASA and XP Pro problems

Thank you for replying. The XP was installed on a new 80GB WD 7200 drive. Putting the drive in required removing 3 ram chips, heatsink and fan, and unplugging both eide ribbon cables. Beofre I installed XP on the new drive, it booted fine and everything worked. This indicates I managed to...

K7ASA and XP Pro problems

I am using a K7ASA made by Elite, with an Athalon 750. It was stable and worked fine until I upgraded from ME to Windows XP Pro. Then the power button stopped functioning, on board sound quit, and it refuses to recoginize my CDROM and CDRW. I added a cheap soundcard, and use the power strip to...

Can anyone help me fix my sound?

Try checking the documentation for your motherboard. I had same problem with different board, k7asa, when I upgraded to WinXP. Had to change a jumper setting to disable onboard sound.

Phillips CDRW $40 rebate at last

How do I use a power supply for a fan only?

I need to run a cooling fan. 12V .8ma I have a good (new) 250w powersupply. Without connecting to a mother board, I get no output from the PS. Is it possible to trick it into giving me 12V? Thanks for any help. Frank
