"between a P4 connector or regualer ATX connector" but im still unclear....will my "P4 Ready Case" go with my athlon mobo? and should i go with the EPOX EP-8KHA+ or the MSI K7T266 PRO2?

lol vbboy "From all that I've read, it will work with an Athlon, it just has a special connector for the Pentium 4. It still has the regular connection for the Athlon XPs. " i was wondering where i could get a converter for the power supply :P

heh, im salvaging the computer im on now, i have 512 in it now, im gonna take it outta this and add it to that comp..how does the rest of the comp look? i just returned my POS Dell, and going for a custom i was reading stuff of off toms hardware, i like the asus card...comes with 3d goggles...

Help, games crash when i alt-tab

it works fine in all of my games (deus ex, max payne, half life, yada). keep an app running tha ttakes up no resources..i made a vb app tha tjust sits there..so you can alt+tab to that.

Simple question: why does my sound card corrupt my games??!?!

yeah i had the same prob. you have to goto the BIOS and disable the onboard sound. then boot into safe mode, right click on "my computer" and click properties. and then in the devices tab, under "sound,video and game controllers" remove any entries for your onboard sound...

strange dvd/cdr drive problem

windows is stupid. is does that to me too. it adds double of the scsi, with two different IRQs. its really annoying.

now its my sound

i disabled it in safe mode, but im still getting the error. i also reinstalled windows media player, still no better. winamp and my games work fine, but other stuff doesnt. -nabeel

Is 512MB worth it?

i have 512mb ram, my games work a little better when playing online. i use photoshop and stuff too and that sped up alots

hi, thanks for the help with my last question. now heres this one: i took out my montego 2 to return because of a hardware prob, and i removed the drivers then removed the card. then i re-enabled my mobo mounted sound. it works fine (like in WinAMP), but in windows media player and roger wilco...

primary/secondary master/slave question, need help fast

oh ok, thanks alot. i have a CD Burner, its a fast USB one, good enough for me since i rarely burn CDs. i ened my DVD because i got this program that converts DVDs to MPEG, then i can burn it to video cd. -nabeel
