What is the command for 32 players in Quake3?

i need to know the command to get more than just 8 or 12 players. i used to know this stuff but college really keeps me from it. i have a lan party coming up and quake3 and counter-strike are the games. just for quake3 there are going to be more than 15 players! Thanks guys!! Luke

How do i specify a my port for a CS server?

i want to run a server on port 80 instead of 27015. how do i accomplish this? i'm so server buff so i need some help! :) Also, does anyone know what port that instant messangers like yahoo, aim, and the msn one run off of? i need those ports so i can get through my friends firewall at...

Alright Counter-Strike freaks, help me out!!

i downloaded the ORIGINAL player models and p_.mdl files from skinshack.com, completely deleted the old ones, placed the new ones in the directory and it still won't work!!!!!! any other suggestions??????? same file consistency error every time!!

To start things off, i have cs v1.5 and half-life 1.1.1.0. I have tried reinstalling and it doesn't work. Whenever i try to join an online game, any server on any map, i get an error similiar to to this: "Server in enforcing file consistency with /models/urban/urban." Something like that...

Amd T-Bird 1.2ghz C not running at C??

i have a asus a7v133 with a 1.2ghz t-bird C(266mhz FSB) The motheroard won't automatically detect the cpu so it makes me do it manually. When i set it to 133mhz bus with a 9.0 multiplier, it will register at 1200 but will not boot windows. It just locks up on the windows screen. I know...

my computer crapped out!! I was at a lan party playing wolfenstien. I was the server everything was going smooth. Just out of nowhere my screen turns black and my computer starts beeping every second or so. So i turn it off thinking it was and overheating issue. I leave it off for 10mins...

Need help, fast :(

your boot kernal is installed on your primary drive(a:) If you switch the drives and reinstall it will work then. But then you have the same problem with one only able to be master and boot. hope it helps!

I need to update my WinStock.

i tried that utility and it didn't help. i remember the guy saying that winstock would do this when he installed my DSL line. My freind has the same DSL and the guy who installed it also installed a patch on his computer to fix the problem. This is not a hardware thing for sure. Thanks!

I need to update my WinStock.

How would i update to the latest version of winstock for 98se? ultil i do this it will keep limiting my downloads to 60KB/sec or so. Really stupid when you have to boot into 2k or WinME to downloads stuff!! Thanks

i heard the newer models didn't run nearly as hot. I heard guys say they ran them for hours at max. I have heard nothing but good about audiobahn too. my freind has some 6x9's from them and he loves them. If the amp gets too hot i can always get a fan for it.

i have a 1989 Ford F-150 and not even the ex-cab so i have no space at all. I did find a box that will hold 2 12" subs though that will fit perfectly behind my seat! I am also on a very tight budget. The box is $50 after shipping from www.speakerhole.com can anyone recommened cheap 12" subs...

I need some DSL modem recommendations

i have only used Cisco and there the best just cost alot. And one small, stupid detail :) There is no such thing a s a dsl modem, there are oly dsl routers. :)

PC2100

pc2100 runs at 266mhz compared to the 133mhz of pc133. Therefore the bandwidth and speed of the memory just about doubles. i use it too from Crucial, it's awsome. hope that helps!

Hey all, i just got my new rig:)

i was getting the asus a7m26 but i got a 1989 ford truck for my 16th b-day on sunday i have to pay for insurance and tags. I have had really good luck with FIC, i only had like 3 crashes in a whole year with my sd11. I don't plan to overclock, who needs something faster than 1.2ghz for todays...
