I woudn't post my IP on AT just because of the public exposure. I wouldn't think that anyone on AT would do anything, but you never know.

Getting around a transparent proxy

I figured as much. I guess it was worth a shot. I just wish I had some way of seeing what they are seeing. I hate knowing that someone can simply tap into my web traffic anytime they want and see whatever I am going to.

Tracing HTTP traffic?

It has greatly increased the speeds on download, but when it comes to viewing web pages, it is very quirky. I don't know if that new cache is messing up or what because I can get to some sites just fine, but others are a problem. My webserver is yet another story. :)

Use Ethereal. It is a nice little packet sniffer that will do everything that you want it to.. I am a little leary of the switch though. Switches only unicast traffic to their respected MAC, so I don't know if you would be able to see what the other computers are doing. You would only see...

You will need to log in each time using Client for MS networks. You will also need to be sure that NetBIOS is working. NetBIOS is the protocol that will let you see the other computers..
