even on p4s533 (645DX) you can go with ddr400, it has the 3:6 ratio wich can set your cpu at 100 and your ram at 200(ddr400), i believe this board can do to
the Media XP comes with WinDVD and WinRIP but not the mobo.
probably thet's for Europe market...'cause the box ir diffetrent too,
it looks like the abit 845g board boxes. with the soccer ball printed on the box
I believe the one we have on US market is the white and blue box.
the sound is good... well average point. but i found that the driver is not included for all the connector to be shown. only three of the connector on the setup. it makes me gave up the line-in if i want to use it as the rear speaker. i tried both driver from the cd, from abit site and from...
there is an upgrade bios, 9W if i'm not mistaken.
which usb port you use??? the tops four is intel, and the driver is
not included at the CD and the bottoms 2 is VIA which has
the driver on the CD. you should not use the via's USB for the keyboard.

that's what i understand too, never put other than hard drive at raid controler.
but in some cases... if you find out that your dvd runs better at promise controller
than just ignore my comment.. you know your setup better than me.
I have the same setup w/ tbird1.4... i use only the primary...
i have tbird 1.4 with asus a7v133 it runs great and no problem at all
Edit: oops sorry i thought you meant WinXP
but my friend has an ECS K7S5A with XP1600+ and PC133
it runs OK though I think it's not at its best performance.
I never has an ECS before but whenever I build computer for a friend
I always use K7S5A w/Athlon XP that's my favorite pair.
I never has a single problem.. well the truth is, i try to avoid the
problem as much as i can by using recomended PSU only and also using
DDR from Crucial. that's the...
I've been an Abit big fans myself.
Since KT7 - KT7A - KR7A - BD7 - and now
i'm happy with my IT7. tried ASUS and MSI
but they are jus not for me.
pEace
that's a good try since BUTCH1 already has the pc100 but if you plan to spend some money
i suggest get the pc2100 or even better pc2700 if the price if not much different.
you can ebay the pc100 then
if you plan to buy just go for the ddr, why make another stop at pc133.
btw/ my experience you have to have a good chip on that mobo,
i can say samsung or crucial is agood pair. i tried to use generics and
it's not always working.

probably the bios won't support all the feature of 478 willie or nw
but the performance (benchmark)i think will be on the middle between
the original 423 and 478. i remembered it just like they have a adapter for
pentium 200 and up mmx to the original socket 7.
nice link for a reference...
did you set up the Vcore?
about the power loss make sure you have set up for automatically restart
on the system failure at startup and recovery. if it was set up and you already up the vcore,
i think it's your psu that you should check first. i think and i hope the mobo and cpu is not
the...
It will be just fine. I have a DDR400 stick on 266/333 board and at default setting it will be considered underclock.
At mod setting (3:4) I cant make it at the spec speed as DDR400.

My experience, it's hard to do it at 2000/XP. At 98/Me it will just find the new driver for each new device.
At 2000/Xp it give me blue screen at front. one thing you could do. Back up all your data you need, or even make a recovery on entire disk. good thing if you have 2 hd you can back it up...
Well I am able to reach 150 FSB with my IT7, slightly increase from BD7R(FSB 145)
I think my RAM is the one that holding me back also I use 1.8A, I heard that
1.6A can reach higher FSB.
One thing I like from this board is eventhough the board only has 4 PCI but I don't need it at all.
I use...
The DDR is 270 because it's set to be 1:1 to the CPU,
so when your CPU run at FSB 135 so do the memory( DDR make it 135x2=270)
I'm not sure about your mobo but if there is a 3:4 setting for the memory than
it should run at 133 CPU : 166 memory (make thosex2 because of DDR)
