Anyone have a working link to the "technique" to remove the backplate that Navid was referring to in paragraph 6?

However, if you ever decide to remove the backplate, it will not come off peacefully! Use this technique instead.
Depends.
Though it sees I am too late to make a determination in your decision since the rebate has expired.
Anyway I BOUGHT 4 sticks of this Corsair ram (8gb) at frys/outpost and an email now says it was shipped. (site mentioned it was not yet in stock)
Oh getting back to the depends. It...
For those waiting or who already own that 2007 Intel Retail Edge package, this is worth a look.
http://www.silentpcreview.com/article783-page1.html
Since their site's perspective is quiet rather than gaming, the author (Mike Chin) in his conclusions, focused on flaws on the lack of bios...
So are suggesting that a 5-5-5-12 (Patriot deal @frys for $90 + $7SH) would likely run better than a 5-4-4-15 (OCZ deal @frys $80 AR of 30).
What the hell, to complete the ram deals that I am contemplating for my 6700 is a Corsair (@frys $90 AR of 40)
BTW I know Yoxxy said "3.5GHz is...
To anyone who has the 6700 and stock Intel mobo up and running, what ram are you using?
So many deals on 2x2gb DDR2 that I am thinking of maxing out the memory to 8GB.
I am wondering which timings will best "fit" this mobo.
Intel mentions DDR2 800 SIMMs with SPD timings of only 5-5-5 or...
1st: Even though these are listed as OOS, I was able to "ORDER" one. When I selected "BUY", a new page popped-up (below) with the "Add to Cart" listed.

"If the "Add to Cart" button is not listed below, then this product is not currently available for advance purchase. Please...
Cannot enter the bag into the cart.
My hunch is that it is soldout :-(
(can still be purchased via third party sellers but you lose the $20 off $50 feature and possibly even the rebate)
Update. Decided to pass. Actual game speeds are modest. (see bottom for review)
These are the specs via AMD/ATI (CompUSA's is not as encompassing) However even ATI's site does not mention the resolution.

I want to know if...
Wow. This seems like a smoking hot deal.
The retailedge deal offers the E6300 which only has half the total cache (specs compared below) and signficantly slower CPU Speed. (and that is typically a smoking hot deal for retail employees. * RetailEdge deal comes with a legit copy of MS Vista)...
My guess is that they will be hosting pics on a website so that your face can be displayed. They might even be able to create a magazine or book that has that pic of you.
Personally I would recommend AGAINST submitting a pic or getting involved.
The copyright is all encompassing. [We...
Anyone else having trouble with the Gizmo? (Innomedia MTA6328-2RE)
Mine craps out after about a minute. (VOIP LED runs for about a minute after powering off/on then goes off and stays off)
Running it AFTER my router.
Ps: Laketrout. I signed up on May 5th, but did not receive any sort...
Anyone here using a cable modem that has a separate port for VOIP?
Comcast's service has a special cable modem mfrd by Aeris designed specifically for VOIP.
I believe Linksys has one also.
Since my current modem is failing, I was wondering if it was worth getting one of these new modems...
I just received pricing:
$410 for the Desktop bundle
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Processor
» Microsoft Windows XP Professional OS
» MSI Motherboard K8NGM2-NBP NVidia C51 NBP chipset
» Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic Sound card - SB 0460

I am also surprised. Anyone able to chime in on the capabilities?
I would be more interested in the Server hardware with the standard XP rather than server 2003.
Can anyone comment on the fax capability/quality over SunRocket?
I was hoping to use the second "virtual" number as a dedicated fax line. (though not with a fax machine but using a dial-up modem and fax software on my PC.
UPDATE:
ANYONE want to $$$ELL their CODE?
If so, PM or email me and I will purchase your option to purchase.
I got denied because I dont work there any longer :-( (WTF, if I was there in Nov, I should have been OK)
I am puzzled by the potential humor.
If you place something like that in YOUR toilet, wouldnt YOU be the one to clean-up any potential accidents? I certainly would NOT want that detail. :-)
Genuine ROFLMAOoooooooooooooooooffffffffffffffffffffff with that comment. In addition to the deals, I enjoy the occasional wit.
Ps: On an educational front: The cartilage on pork ribs, beef or chicken (on the end of the breast bone, as well as the on the legs) is one of the most...
You should clarify in the header that it is 2x1gb.
As for the price.... decent for the timing.
It would be a perfect fit for everyone who got in on the Intel Retail deal.
Brain,
What brands would you suggest for best quality, lowest repair rate?
Also I like side-by-side models but a repairman once told me they are more trouble because the cooling is LESS efficient. The most efficient design is supposedly freezer on top (thus the cooling sinks to frigerator...
That might work. However you also contact them via email and provide them with the info for your store. Be sure to provide the address and store number.
More than one mile open field line of sight performance.
Doubt you will get that 1 mile in real life situations. I dont believe there is anything better than the Pre-N routers. (and this is NOT designated as a pre-n so it is probably 'only' a G router)
So thumbs down on ParkerVision...
Those of you who answer a post that clearly is in the wrong board are almost as bad as the OP for continuing the thread.
Even worse this wasnt originated by a newby but a Diamond member with over 3000 posts. Anyway while it's at the top, I thought I would chime in.
