I recently found out that the maximum capacity of CD-R's reached 800 megs. Does anyone know of a reputable dealer from which you can purchase these CD-R's?
EDIT: Added "800Meg" to the title, so its not confused with normal CD-R's :)
If the noise is bothering you i would replace it, and not simply unplug it. The manufacturer would not put it on there if it wasnt needed. My Abit KR7A has a kt266a chipset and it has a heat sink and fan also. I dont think it would be wise to remove it.
