Final word on Vista and activation???

this is obviously great news for those of us that like to upgrade our machines quite frequently. I think I'm going to go the OEM route w/ Vista Home premium.

I dont know about that but I do know that it does put much, much, much load and stress on a system over other games like UT2K4 and such. heck, one of my buddies can run UT2K4 and a couple of other games at one time. but as soon as he loaded D3, he quickly realized how unstable his O/Ced P4...

running a 6800 GT in a Shuttle

well, I just installed my PNY 6800 GT in my SB75G2 and she handles like a dream. the card is running at 420/1100 on my system's 250W power supply without any problems so this stuff about people needing 350W power supplies (and above) is bunk. here's a pic... anyways..... I'm happy with...

What drew you to a SFF system?

me? I finally got tired of a full tower system taking up 30% of my entire desktop space and the noise of the multiple fans didnt really appeal to me either. my Shuttle SB75G2 looks sleek, is almost dead silent and takes up alot less space than my previous system could ever dream of.

CS = customer service which IMO opinion SUCKS bigtime with Dell. its not bad enough that their left hand doesnt know what their right hand is doing but it also sucks that 99% of the time when you call Dell's CS you get someone overseas in India who can barely speak a lick of english. that alone...

okay, here's a question for ya. why is it that when I turn off CMSS that my rear speakers on my 5.1 system dont work anymore? if you can answer that, is there a fix to this so I dont have to run CMSS but still have rear sound?

well, at first I went ahead and just installed the D/Led driver but I then tried what shady said. all in all I dont think I really notice a difference in sound quality between my TBSC and this card. should I notice a difference considering I'm running a pretty decent set of speakers (in sig)?
