Thank you for the reply. If theres is a disk I/O error or 'can not load system file' error reported when booting from the floppy disk, is the problem from BIOS or motherboard?

Is this a bad motherboard?

The point I doubt the motherboard is bad is: If I turned the machine off for about a couple of hours, then the floppy drive works. After that, if I reboot again, the floppy drive fails. How do you set the FDD controller? If I can see the floppy drive found in the BIOS, is FDD controller already...

Floppy drive unbootable == Bad drive?

I checked BIOS, the floppy disk is there. The weird thing is that if I boot from the hard disk, I can see the floppy drive and can see the files on the floppy disk. However, this drive is not bootable even if I use a system bootable disk and change the BIOS to make it boot from Floppy. :(

Floppy drive unbootable == Bad drive?

I have a floppy drive which can not boot the system floppy disk(which can be boot from another floppy drive). However, when I switch that floppy drive to another motherboard, it works and can boot a system disk. So what is the problem here? My motherboard or hard drive wrong or something else...

Is my Athlon 1.4GHz too hot?

Wow, your cooling is really coooool! Is it easy to change a heat sink and the fan on it? It was not easy when I installed mine above CPU. I ordered a retail box from newegg.com, and the heat sink came with the CPU. Sorry, I am not sure the brand. Thanks a lot!

Is my Athlon 1.4GHz too hot?

Does epox 8k7a+ support Win2K?

I have seen a lot of positive reviews for both of them and seems to me that KG7 is better than 8K7A+ on memory issue since it can supports up to 4GB. However, which one is more stable and more overclockable? How about RAID? Thanks a lot!
