I was wondering if someone had any knowledge regarding application control using your router. Here is the scenario: I have two WAN connections. I’d like to have certain applications go out through one WAN, and other applications go out through the other WAN. Is this even possible? thank you!

Ended up nixing sophos as i had 'weirdness' occur several times, and I couldn't find a resolution. I tried pfsense for a while as well. Liked it too, but ultimately went back to the Meraki because it has the 3 year license (why not use it). Ideally, i'd like to see if it can do ad-blocking...

A Motherboard for an i5 8400 or i5 8600K

If you were in the market for a new Home Router today, what would you buy?

I have a Meraki MX64 I got for free for attending a webinar. Came with a 3 year license. Although the license renewal is outrageously priced - the device, functionality, and configurability is every cool. I was using pFsense prior to this and it was rock solid.

Was in same situation as you. Decided to build my own router out of an old PC (running pfSense), bought a 24 port switch, and I bought an AC1200 router and put it in WAP mode instead. You can always buy more AC1200 routers and run them in WAP mode if coverage stinks.

Either use the software I linked you to to disable it in windows or see if there is a keystroke combo that allows you to enter the BIOS menu on that card to disable to boot manager.
