You have to actually return the item to the buyer to get a refund. Or anyone could just claim something and get a free item. Make them sign for it when you send it back. that way all doubt is removed so you can get a refund or another cpu if you wish.
Where did you get it from and did you...
It is used. I would imagine he bought it from another user. Did it have the damage when you got it? Or did you damage it? It is pretty easy to figure out who to blame. Looks like you might just need to buy a new cpu though.
I wonder why "Doc x" hasn't responded to this. Or the mods looked into this here also. Great work on the free games people. Very nice thing to do here.
Are you doing it as administrator? Also have you tried rebooting after that? As this method works fine on all my pcs.
Edit: Here is a registry hack to try also.

The intel ssds are showing their ages now. You either wait for the ssd refresh at the end of the year or early next year. Or pick up a crucial, etc for the speed as in now.
I just sold my X25-M Mainstream. As 2 samsung f3's in raid 0 works out to be a little better on space and speed. But not...
The standard port is correct. There is no need for the other as you aren't doing raid. Then all you simply have to do is enable AHCI in the bios for the ssd drive and you are set.
But sounds like something happened to the board though. Hopefully the new one will sort it out though.
What risk are you talking about? If the cpu gets to a certain degree it will shut off via the motherboard. The distilled water is non-conductive also.
Everything comes with a risk though. I just think water cooling is addictive. As you always see something and go i need that and you really...
Wow that heatkiller block looked bad. All i'm running is feser tubing and distilled water and pt-nuke also though.
If i got the ek which seems to have a better vrm thermal resistance. Then i will have to either sale or trade my heatkiller for EK Supreme HF clear top block. And i'm not sure...
Sorry for bringing this thread back up. But i'm torn between this block and the ek full block. I already have a heatkiller 3.0 cu cpu block, so it is a hard call now.
I can't believe you quoted the whole thing right after he posted it. You should have just replied...............
I find it easier to set up control for their accounts though. But it should work for some of the folks out there though.
But "prank" for the title isn't very good. As most...
They have already reported the site as a scam. So no one will get their free blanket. As if you look at their site it is bogus.

The venomous is getting rave reviews now also.

It edges the megahalem out by a few degree. But take that with a grain of salt.
I thought you may have overclocked your christmas tree lights. I did mine and hit around 1000/1800/1950 and the lights now have a strobe effect.
Merry Christmas everyone and god bless.
Some games have settings you can do in the console, so perhaps the game you are playing might help.
Could also be connection if it is wireless or improper rates, all kinds of things can cause the issue. Could just be a low quality mic or sound card.

I'm talking about the lower end cards. The 57XX series ones. Even 256bit bus on the higher ends does either. Heck we are in the 512bit bus for a long while now.
I am asking why is ati going backwards with the 128/256 bit bus.
I dumped my 74gb raptor as soon as i seen my sata 7200rpm 500 gigs wiped the floor with it.
Don't think i'm trying to just attack you. But i was disappointed when i seen the results. For the price and performance i wasn't impressed at all with it.
If you get a case buy one that has the extended motherboard tray. As if you ever have to buy a bigger motherboard the extended ones you will have a case for it. If not you will have a large amount of space and easy to work around and good air flow.
Agreed this will be very nice. For us with quad sli and we can change out when not folding or heavy gaming. To the other gpu and browse the web, etc and cut back on heat and power. I'm really looking forward to this.
Agreed [H] is the red and white of them all. Now i would like to see some skins for this forum though, would be a nice addition to be able to put a skin color you like in here.
Have you removed the cpu and replaced it back again and checked the heatsink. If that heatsink isn't on secure, {not sure if you are using the stock} it will not allow it to boot because of the heat build up.
Some boards will only boot if the ram is in a certain spot. You should check the...
Yup agreed it is fine for general use, but anything mildly aimed at games that are intense or newer it will fail. The crap intel graphics i have doesn't even support aero, but it gets the job done and battery life is good.
I've always liked Asus, they build some solid boards. But lack good customer service. Gigabyte tends to hit most of their settings from the general user. So it is hard to tell but i see you have the gigabyte so if it isn't doing a good job get the asus.
