I can't remember how to turn on the advanced view when task switching in XP. This tweak shows a preview of the window instead of just the icon. I had it enabled in my first install but I restored and now it's turned off.
I've tried a bunch of tray managers to hide/arrange the system tray icons but none seem to work in Windows XP. The WinXP manager doesn't let you arrange the icons the way you want them. For example it's a little annoying to have the volume button between the clock and the video card display...

There is and it's easy. ;)
Download Powertoys for XP and use Tweak UI. You need to uncheck "files stored on this computer" under My Computer.
Tiny PF but it can be hard to setup. ZA is pretty good but once you allow a program access to the net it can access any port instead of a specific port. BlackIce is intrusion detection and does not close any ports.
:D It's easy to get confused about the TTC. All the books titled TTC are translated by different authors. Some just have the translation and others have some commentary added. I've read through Taoteching and was able to get a better understanding with the added commentary. I've read a few...
There are quite a few translations of the Tao Te Ching. Taoteching does a good job of translating & explaning Lao Tzu's writings. The Way of Zen is another good book you might want to check out.
The Tao of Pooh is a excellent book. Some insight into Taoism but a good read for anyone. Taoteching & Tao Teh Ching gets into the philosophical principles for the serious minded.
