Sonofa.. reinstalled XP over XP, I want my old username back

The profile with your old name is not there, because you deleted blackburn folder before deleting profile. Look again into User Profiles and delete the one the says somethinhg like - uknown profile. Also, you may have to delete blakcburn user name from the Users object of Local Users and Groups...

Problem Reformatting

If you are booting with Windows XP cd and getting NTLDR is missing, either your XP cd is not bootable or you did not set your BIOS to boot from cd. If your XP cd is not bootable, go to Bootdisk.com and download XP boot disks. If you have Win98 or WinMe boot disk, reformat you primary partition...

Problem Reformatting

You should be able to install OS from bootable XP disk just fine also, by just doing Quick Reformat option (you do not need delete partitions). I am not sure why it did not work or why you can not boot from XP cd now. But if you can get PM8, just do what I said above, and than boot from your XP...

Problem Reformatting

Do you have bootable Partition Magic cd disk, or floppy. If yes, boot with it and instead of just reformating drives, delete all partitions and recreate you primary and logical partitions over.

I need help regarding setting multiple user accounts on WinXP

Just create a shortcuts for any programs or games that are missing from user accounts and put them in the c:\documents and settings\all users\desktop folder. Also, if you going to create user accounts without administrative rights (only users group ), you might have to disable simple file...

Static IP assignment and Linksys BEFSR41 v2

Help! Sprint ripped me off my security deposit.

I have a receipt from the store, but all it says that I paid $125 and the reason why I was not worried about this receipt is because those money were showing on my sprint account. But, now when they gone sprint rep told nothing they can do even with receipt.

Help! Sprint ripped me off my security deposit.

Here is the story. On 6/24/02 I opened my wirelles phone account at the Sprint store. I was required to pay security deposit of $125 to open my account and the store rep told me it would be returned after 1 year. This money were put on my account and I could see them every time I would login on...

Try Runtimes GetDataBack (www.runtime.org/gdb.htm). I was able to recover my files after even formating my drive.

I am running it at 1024x768 with refresh rate 60. So I think the problem is in something else. Also, I don't know why power led doesn't stays green.

Help! No video on Planar PV174

Hi! I just received this LCD form Dell and I don't get any video on the screen. Connection is analog. After turning it on power led flashes with green light 2 times and than stays black. Video card works fine cause I cheked it with my CRT. Is LCD broken?
