can you buy 3pin or 4pin ends for bare leads on fans?

well, i'm ALSO wanting to connect a majority of my 4pin fans to a Digital Doc 5 which only has 3pin fan connections. i COULD just cut all the 4pin connectors and splice in 3pin conectors, but i'd rather not. i HAVE found a couple of places that sell them for $2/each and i've found the parts...

first, thanks to ALL of you who responded!! seems there is ONE person who carries an actual 4pin to 3pin adapter : www.2cooltek.com. they are $2/each, but to make some myself, i'll pay ~$2 in parts. :confused: i'm asking him about a quantity discount to see if i can get them cheaper...

actually, many IRC servers are setup to auto-kick any nick with the word "bot" in it. i used to run one and that was one of the options in the config.... just a thought.

well, it used to be DMA... that's what has got me so confused. i wouldnt have noticed except that when i went to burn something my CPU utilization went through the roof and it NEVER did with this burner before. i guess next i'll try taking the aopen drive back out and see if there is any...
