Do the Ear Force DPX21's really break as easily as it sounds?

I really want these but the reviews about them breaking so much really are turning me off. Are they as bad as they seem? And if so; what do people recommend instead in the same price range ($150 or so)?

I'm debating against the X41's and DPX21's. I'm not real sure I like the thought of wireless due to all the "popping" issues people complain about. I don't mind a cable. Anyone have the DPX21's? Only thing that concerns me is so many people complaining of their poor quality and they break 3-4...

Blue-ray - Not all speakers work?

Hi All, I got a blue-ray player a few months ago and have noticed that whenever I watch something on the Blue-Ray player my left front and left rear speakers don't have any sound. The center, right front, and right rear all do. This is only an issue when watching blue-ray; these speakers...

This is good to here actually; she uses CS3, I just mentioned CS4 as that's the latest version and figured if we can support CS4 then CS3 wouldn't be a problem. I got one of the approved cards so we're good there. Thanks!

GeForce 8800 GTS Default Settings?

OK, I found it, there's an option when clicking on the Nvidio icon in the taskbar to "Reset Hardware Defaults". This is under Custom Color Settings. I did this and the only thing that changed was Gamma from 3% to 9% and that seems to have helped. I'll be able to confirm tonight when I turn WoW...

I increased to 75hz which is the highest my monitor supports. However, this doesn't fix my issue of the gamma being all screwed up...any thoughts on how to reset this to defaults? :)

36GB Raptor showing up as 70GB drive...?

Wow, I'm such a retard. I purchased this 4 years ago and am just rebuilding now and somehow thought I always had a 36gb drive, but just checked and yes, it's 72gb... LOL...I've been building this PC too long!!! :)

ABIT AB9 Pro Intel P965 $59.99 AR Mobo, was $49, Newegg

I just saw this deal on newegg today and am going to jump all over it. Just built a PC with the Abit IP35 and it was a great board. Getting this one with more features and half the price is awesome. I agree 100% with this poster that in 1-2 years if I upgrade again I'd be buying a new board...

I do love Samsung. Interesting deal on the Analog one. I'd have to purchase an Analog to DVI converter as the graphics card only has DVI but it is something to keep in mind. Thankfully that MIR is good til the end of the month :)

Nice...actually it's $33 more as the 1440x has free shipping, but I agree...1680x would be nice... I'll have to think about it, maybe one of these or the samsung I'm looking at will go onsale this weekend and that will make it easier decision...

LOL, I was worried the first time I built one for a friend, but this will be my 7th or 8th and never had problems. Yeah, I could tell them to go to Dell or HP but they'd get crap in comparison and pay just as much if not more.
