I know these are supposed be to rebadged NEC 2500A, but do they have the "Mad Dog" logo
on the front of the drive? I hate that "Mad Dog" logo. I prefer the plain OEM look.
That's not likely because just about all large retail stores have the price assigned to the UPC barcode -- whatever price
comes up when they scan the code is what you'll pay. So even if there is a $500 card behind a $1 sign, you still
have to pay $500. I've worked for retail stores before and...
They had the exact same offer in July. I bought $250+ worth of
electronics but still haven't received the gift certificate.
Has anyone received his/hers?
There's no mention of the bearing type.. so I guess it's safe to assume that
they're sleeve bearing.
It would be a good deal if they're ball bearing fans.
Newegg's new warehouse in NJ is certainly good news for people on the east coast.
People in California have been able to get their orders quickly -- next day in some cases.
With their new warehouse on the east coast, let's hope my order arrive faster than 4 business days.
$339 for a Dell 1800FP LCD monitor?
Keep on dreaming :)
The 20% coupon doesn't stack.
Quote from coupon "One coupon per customer. One time use only. Cannot be combined with other Software & Peripherals discounts or coupon codes."
HP stated clearly on their shopping cart page:
"HP is not liable for pricing errors. If you place an order for a product that was incorrectly priced, we will cancel your order and credit you for any charges."
There's no chance of them honoring this deal if it's a mistake.
Yep! What worse is their 'refubished" stuffs aren't refurbished. They just pack their returned stuffs
and put them up on sale as refurbished. I recently bought a refurbished Thermaltake case from them.
The windowed-side panel wouldn't open because there's a serious dent near the lock handle...
They screwed me too! First they sent me a post card stating that I sent them the wrong invoice. I kept a copy
of everything so I FAXed them a copy of my submission. Then my rebate entry disappeared from their tracking page.
This is why I shop at Newegg instead of GameVE:
GameVE's policy:
"All REFUNDS, including DEFECTIVE and DOA Merchandise, WILL BE charged a 15% Restocking Fee"
"There will be an additional $6 deduction after restocking fee for items with "FREE SHIPPING" promotion."
I have this DVD player.
Yes. You do need to use the shift key on the remote.
The remote is short-range and isn't very responsive. The eject button takes a few second to respond.
Other than that the DVD player is fine.
Mine plays VCD, SVCD, DVD and MP3 (CD-R and CD-RW).
I would buy one at $3.99 but there's no way in hell I'm going to pay $19.99 for one of these.
I think the $7.99 cold cathode lights at SVC are better quality (their inverter is encased in a hard plastic shell
rather than heat shrink sheath like frozencpu's).

I've gone through the ad and didn't see any mention of a warranty. Therefore, I'm very reluctant to order one.
$125.99 is a good price for this receiver but it'd be a very expensive door stopper if it broke down in a week.
I just received 3 GC68 heatsink/coolers. They look exactly the same as the ones I bought
serveral months ago. However, the retention clips on these new GC68 are so weak. There's just barely
enough tention to hold the heatsink in place -- you can slide it around after it has been set.
I tried...
I think it's just silly judging a company by the condition of the merchandise when they get to you.
Once they shipped your order, what condition your merchandise is when it gets to you depends on the shipping courier.
I've received 1 case from Newegg with the box punched in on 2 sides, the top &...
I used to like Turbo Tax until they put spyware on their tax software. Now I buy TaxCut. I don't like being forced to register
a software I paid for with my hard-earned money! I don't like to be spied on!
Let's boycott Intuit and any company that forces us to register their software!

They didn't give me an ETA for the back-ordered silver and blue cases.
From their emails:
"-The CS-140-103 SILVER ANTEC SX1030 CASE 420WATT is currently back
ordered and is expected to come in on / / (BACK ORDER)."
"-The CS-140-105 BLUE WINDOW CHIEFTEC SX1040 W/O PS is currently back...
WOW! I got an offer for an old old Diamond Viper V770 Ultra for .. get this ... $127.49
This would make a good showcase piece for a computer museum. :)
Before people get all excited, these are Not-for-Distribution (NFD) software -- not retail versions. Microsoft stamped the CD with
"NOT FOR RETAIL OR OEM DISTRIBUTION." They're meant to be used by your company and not to be resold or bundled with new systems.
You're wrong. You can unplug and swap these while the system is running. This is possible for an IDE device because
there's a key to power them off and unlock them -- before you remove them. With IDE, the problem comes in, where you must
set one as master and the other as slave when using 2...
db, it's not that the avi movies don't play it's just that the movies don't run smoothly. The same AVI movies would play
beautifully (without any 1/2-seconds stalled every few seconds). This happened whether the drives were attached before
or after boot-up. My hard drives (in the removable...
I'm using 4 of these $6.95 ones with my Win2000 systems. They ARE hot swappable but
you need to detect for them in Device Manager after swapping drives. The only problem is that
playing back AVI video store on them doesn't run smooth.
These $6.95 ones actually worked better at hot-swapping...
