    The monitor is almost 4 years old. It persists with different vid cards :( However, I leave my computer running during the night (although I shut the monitor off usually) and all throughout the day. Perhaps I should let it cool down? The monitor does seem quite warm.

    Heh, I guess my standards of grades have also risen along with my average. I use to think 80% was fine until I realized that it wouldn't get you into any of the renowned universities where I lived. I guess this may have compelled me to subconsciously try harder since I'm naturally competetive.
