I don't see what the big freaking deal is.... Obviously he's not taking part in the SUMMER games nor does he have any connection to it. He's been blacklisted in immigration (like the US doesn't do that) probably till next month when the games are over. Then he could go in as he wishes and...

Which has more job opportunities?

learn concepts of programming and you can apply them to most any language. imo, java is a much better server side language while .net is easy to pump out desktop applications. I agree that if you want to learn OO concepts, Java is a good place to start.

Well played AMD

that asrock board is based on the 945p chipset. I guess they were one of the few that had implemented VRM11 on those boards. Not sure about DDR2-800 support though. Asrock also has a board based on the VIA chipset that supports conroe....(with ddr and agp also! lol) truth is at this time...

what he's saying that if it'll be closer if you add in the power consumption of the motherboard chipset, because AMD has the memory controller built in. And he's right because you don't just run a PC with just a CPU and not a motherboard. Anand shows that at idle, an X2 system still uses less...

Best budget OC'ing option for the coming months?

if you are running at only 1024x768, get a 7600gs gfx card instead. Costs about $100....performance should be close to a 7600gt at low res

Conroe how much I can OC it (increase Conroe FSB)

I think the motherboard is much more of a OC bottleneck than the CPU itself... this p965 chipset (with fancy heatpipe cooling) overclocks to 333mhz fsb on stock voltage, and then a +0.5v only managed 360mhz fsb. http://hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?cid=6&id=1967 We can not ASSUME...

Found some data points for a p965 motherboard. Using NewEgg and a PC shop in HK http://jumbo-computer.com/pricelist/pricelist.asp , the gigabyte p965 basic is about $150 (GA-965P-DS3), the xfire one (GA-965P-DS4) is about $200, and the super ultra xfire extreme one (GA-965P-DQ6) is about $240...

the new Intel motherboards won't be cheap. It is not known what the i965 chipset mobo will cost but I assure you it'll be more than a Asrock. You'll also need some DDR2 memory. I have read that Intel boards have a FSB wall of about 400fsb. The E6300 has a multi of 7x so you should be able to...

Nintendo DS lite vs PSP?

I have both systems, got the PSP over a year ago and the NDSL last week. I even have games that run on both systems....here's the breakdown:: PSP +Much better graphics. Lots of bling... +Has more sports games available (like EASports series). Madden on psp kicks the snot out of the NDS one...

Conroe Prices vs. AMD X2 (S939 & AM2)

I'll doubt that it'll be that easy to get your hands on a conroe within the next quarter. Yes it's launched, but the OEMs will get them first. 4Q is more likely... And because demand is soooo high while the supply is low, those prices prolly won't mean jack.

if you need 4 doors, get the GTI. Best value for the money imo. 200hp, good interior, 0-60 in under 7 seconds...an auto transmission that shifts faster than manual. all for $21k.
