I'm looking at that Sharp 5.1 Home Theater combo too. Can you PM me once you test it out? I want to know how is it. Usually I don't buy cheap stuffs when it comes to entertainment so I'm very skeptical.
About Frys, here is my encounter on one of the staff at the Manhattan Beach branch:

Even though this is a HOT deal for those who likes the T68i, I recommend going with Cingular or T-Mobile on this instead of AT&T. AT&T is not really up to GSM network and they're just setting up new towers to accommodate for GSM band. This phone has a downsize that it's not multi-band network...
Does T-Mobile have good reception in your area?
I just went to the store and yes, this phone only has two GSM plans. The $40 and $100. I wish there are more variety to it.
I just got back from an asian cellphone store. Yes, they do have the T68i for ATT but it's $50.
You pay $100 to them and send in the $50 rebate to ATT.
But then this phone requires you to stay on two GSM plans. $40 or $100. That's it! Which really suck.
I just tried that. Not working!
They claimed the coupon is not valid with other offers. That means pricematching. Oh well! If any of you finds a better way to knock down the price, please let me know.
Thanks.
So... I can get a Toyota Supra for about $24K and still beat your Holy-o'Great-One WRX? And I still get a better look than that Subaru?

chibimike,
i don't think the 1805-177 model makes much of a difference from the 1000-S157. For $200 less, it will suffice as a laptop. You can just get a PCMCIA NIC card for around $10-15 dollars. :)
verytasty,
you can buy a PCMCIA network card to plug in the slot. The system will then recognize the card and you can plug the RJ-45 cable (network cable) to it.
And also, I was wondering if people who purchased this laptop from Office Depot before with $899.99 can do something about this...?
