I did a quick search on my user name and found out that my user name with my real post count was renamed to "imported_Hammerhead"
How do i get my post count back?

For the sake of this discussion, let's say it was possible with current technologies.
First thought would be "sure, why not!" but then we could have jurassic park all over again.
if the address is correct on the ebay transaction and paypal receipt, then the chances are you will get your money back.
Paypal usually sides with the buyers on everything.
As a seller, I know that paypal will side with the buyer 99% of the time. even if I give them all the info and explain...
You are not at fault, Ebay is at fault because you have to go through so many layers on their site just to find out basic info. If I were you, I would open up a dispute in paypal.
I would have to agree with the seller on this one. There are instances where I never check the paypal details. I just go through ebay, click order details (in ebay), get the address, and send to that address. It is the buyers responsibility to keep all his addresses current.
