How to migrate from 1 HDD (3 partitions) to 2 SSD and 1 HDD?

thanks guys! yeah i plan on checking/fixing alignment right after i boot up with the new drives and i'll try to keep the 2nd drive D: but if not, no biggie! i would have gotten 1 big SSD, but i had a old one on hand and some extra paypal for a 2nd one...hence....2!

SOrry, I tried to google and read forums for several days and could only find topics helping people moving their primary HDD to a primary SSD. I have 3 physical HDD in my computer 1 of them has 3 partitions -1 of which is my boot partition with Win 7 x64 HP (C) (200GB) -1 is my games...

macbook pro and merom?

Conroe, the desktop version of the new intel core is slated for the 2nd half of 2006, but merom (the mobile part) is epxected to ship out to OEM's in time for the holiday season, with retail probably early 2007 for us joe's

actually, most 16ms panels use dithering tech like mentioned by deals99, so for a big chunk of the color spectrum the monitor is forced to do doing 16ms x 2, making it 32 ms repsonse time for most colors. thats why a lot of 20ms panels are rated as having better performance in reviews. goot...

yeah yo ucan download them, but at approx $1 a song, this is much cheaper, with NO DRM's lossless quality.... and if you decide to steal them illegally.....well ...thats your choice to break the law.... this is HOT i just spent $100 ugh! :D

yes get thermal paste, get the smallest size if you dont want to spend taht much its like $5-$18 for a 3g tube of arctic silver3 or artic ceramique, i'd recommend the ceramique dont get a shim, unless you plan on moving your computer around a lot and you're nervous about your core chipping due...

Need help... shuttle overheating... any tips?

yeah, defintealy cut out teh fan grill from the back... get a nicer 80mm fan like the thernaltake smartfan 2 that one has good CFM performance and its adjustable... so you can crank it during the hot days.. and lower it once teh weather cools down...... also...if you have a shuttle with...

ATI's 9800SE the new 9500?

i dont think its cheap enough... its been availible on pricewatch for a while though... the se's are just listed under 9800 thogh... they're what makes the 9800 category look so cheap.... but after shipping they come just under $200... i think its better to just buy a 9700 for $20 more and o/c...

my geforce4 sucks?

the 9500's are in the ballpark of gf4's in raw performance when everything is stock if i remember correctly(this is off teh top of my head, yo ucan checkreviews later) but when aa and as are turned on.... they dont take much of a hit, they also have pretty good dx9 hardware compared to the...

Should I get a 2500+ Barton or P4 2.4c

if you ahve the money, just get the p4, if you want to be stingy get teh barton.... you basically cant go wrong either way.. but a p4 o/ced to 3.3 and higher will out perform a barton o/ced to 2.4-2.5 forget the % of price difference people are talking about, its not that big of a difference...

basically up it if you find that you're unstable at high fsb... but make sure that you put on better cooling on your northbridge if you do up the voltage, stock heatsinks gerenally suck on n/b's

Need recommendation/help for SFF System

i'd reccomend the sn45 which gives you the nforce2 400 chipset, then you can add on m-audio 7.1 pci sound card which should give you goud enough sound quality for your ascends and the denon (very nice choice btw!) as for video, you'll have to get an aill-in-wonder radeon to get all that tv...

yeah but if tehj memory is straight it's teh revised PCB without the 256-bit architechure of the 9700, which only mods teh 9500's into 9500pros.. the 'L' shaped memory mod to underclocked 9700's

Shuttle SN41G2B - a twisted tale

the psu's n those shuttles are pretty robust, and others have stuffed much more demanding components, so i doubt its the PSU, and its hard to screw up the I.C.E. stuff shuttle designed.....so i agree so seems that the memory is fine, graphics are fine, bios checked, and drivers..... strange...

50C is actually on the high side, probably due to a mediocre hs/f combo you got from compusa next time ordering a better heatsink/fan combo will yeild you much better results and extend the life of your cpu, since heat does attribute to aging

Best 2D Card Under $200

i can't speak from experience but my opinion is that the 9600 pro/nonpro will be a good choice the combination of windows xp clear type and an LCD is great for staring at text for hours upon hours.... i dont see too much difference between ati cards and nvidia cards in normal windows working...

What's included with the Dell i600m?

just as a heads up, but this is a bit off-topic, the 600m's are kinda flimsy, yes despite teh metal casing, my friend ahs one and it flexes pretty easily when you grab it with your hands, the screen half. so just dont plan on dropping it in a backpack or something nonchalantly

if you ever seen these bags they're very tough, and good looking, but try not to use it for your serious photo gear because these bags really do catch teh eyes of your common theives mroe so than the standard lowepro type bags, and are more prone to theft, but for regualr bag use these things...
