I have an old palomino 2100 processor laying around on a broken motherboard. Could I throw this thing in a small form factor case? Would heat be an issue with this processor? What sff cases are better with dealing with heat? Thanks bagaki

Help Me With A Power Supply

i currently use the antec - it seems to be pretty good. i currently run 2x250 maxtors, 2x160 seagates, 1x73 raptor, radeon 9600xt, dvd drive, cdrw, and a dvdrw - along with 4 case fans and 2 raid cards... all with an athlon64 3400. i get better voltages than i used to from my 3 year old...

i am using XP. i am already using the icon in the task bar, i should have been more specific. i was just wondering if there is anything else to do to keep drive integrity when disconnecting it from power. thanks for the response bagaki

I just put a 60 gig laptop hdd i have into a usb powered enclosure. i am wondering when i use the drive, what is the proper way to disconnect it. i dont think that just unplugging it can be good for the hdd. i dont want to screw up the drive. thanks bagaki

JackMDS - when i am on the network at home, i can type for example: //server in the address bar and it goes to my server @ say ip 1.2.3.4 - i can no longer just type in //server., i need to type //1.2.3.4 i edited the hosts file and placed the ip's and names of the computers on the network...

have you considered Sager notebooks? Link most of their systems now have 800mhz FSB im not sure how much for the acer or how much you want to spend, but they might have what you are looking for regards, bagaki
