    Being opposed to a war doesn't equate to being opposed to war in general though. The problem isn't that soldiers are dying. It's that soldiers are dying and things over there are getting worse, not better. That, to most people, feels like a waste of lives and bad planning/execution.

    Got a Kelty myself, the Redwing 2900, a few years back for somewhere around $100. Doesn't have the detachable daypack (Eagle Creek makes a nice one that does), but it fits the carry-on size and has enough room for everything.
