Im about to build a cheap system that will be used for listening music / surf web / watch divx
not looking for gaming system.
I've already decided on sound card. so i'm looking for a decent/cheap mobo w/o the sound card.
I prefer nforce2 chipset and looking to put xp2200 on it. Don't have to...

I bought me a Samsung Printer my self during that fiasco. my cc hadn't been charged yet whcih it should've been by now becuz I've already received my printer.
well right now i'm at 190 fsb and seems like stable
no error so far vcore at 1.7 50 C hot....
gonna go for 200 again....
btw...could i run hyperx pc3000 and this pc3200 as dual channel mode? if i can, then both speed has to be as pc3000 becuz both ram speed has to be the same?

but not stable even with pc3200 relaxed timings......what am i doing wrong?
prime95 gives hardware fault. shouldn't...
just got a another monitor but both are displaying same.....
how could i run different tasks on each display?
for example i want to run divx in one display and surf net on the other?
is there a setting in hydravision option?

i set my fsb at 184 muti 11 vcore 1.65
its stable ....timing is 6-2-2-2

i could go more but unstable in prime95 , think i'm limited by this memory
hehe...i just couldn't understand memory "sync" when i was reading threads in here.....
so basically setting fsb to the memory that i have which is pc3000 ( 370 mhz) right?

currently got my xp2100+ at 2.1ghz (191 x 11) using a7n8x and 1 stick of hyperx pc3000 (6-2-2-2)
what do i need to know so that this memory is in sync?
i've ran prime95 for couple hrs now and seems stable...but temp rose to 47 load / 40...
I've had the same problems as you but i have my agp set "auto"
currently still testing but i've got it upto 186 FSB/ multi 11, stable with "xp2100 dut3c"
but i'm using 256 hyperx 3000.....if i push further i get error in prime95......
i'm kinda stuck at the moment.....

yep vcore is 1.65
temp load 40 / idle 35 currently using the lite-on ps 300w
just can't figure it out all i did was change back to when it was stable at 191....

been runing prime95 at 191 FSB , mult 11 , vcore 1.6 (agp freguency set to auto) and no errors for 5 hrs...
so i decided to up fsb to 196 then i got error right off from prime95 so i went back to 191 fsb and...
got mine 2 weeks ago when it was $135..... right it's on RMA
got rev 2.0 ....shipping was ok but however when i could tell they sent me somewhat used one cuz the manual was not in brand new and there was streched mark on plastic cover of the board where nforce chipset heatsink was....was not...
well ... lowered my muti to 12.5 now
was able to up fsb to 180 but no more this memory could handle at 370mhz but its at 360
so far so good as to what i'm able to do
it's at 2.255 Ghz but weird comp recognize as XP2600+
is my temp ok at 38 C idle?
is there any guide to memory synch?
Ok...i've been messing with this setup all day and so far i got it up to 2.25Ghz.

coolling sk-7
fsb is at 166 with multi 13.5
set my memory to 6-2-2-2T
vcore at 1.7
temp idle at 36 C
can't bump multi no more
it...
that's nice cooling
as you stated i've tried your setting and was able to post xp2800 but windows craps up...
for me i don't think i could go no more that 13x multi.
i think i could reach 2.3ghz mark
temp right now is 35 C idle 40 C full load....
what's your toughts?

and posted as xp2400+
ran 3dmark and got 1000 more scores
seems stable , cpu temp at 38 C.
should i set it as AGGRESSIVE except memory?

cooling SK-7 with Enermax fan.
1. when i bumped...
right now i have this fan suckiing out of SK-7
i know i need to flip it to blow into the heatsink but the wires from fast touches the heatsink..
is this ok for the fan and heatsink where the wire touches it little bit?
Yes there is very quite beeping noice that i had barely hear but it's there...
and from MOBO post FF....i'm looking into this FF posting......but ppl who had FF are pulling their hair out....
as for the HEATSINK...going to check on that right now
just got my mobo ( 8RDA+ ) and xp1700
everything is set to go but when power it up, case fan blow for a second and turns whole thing off....
is this something to do with the mobo or some kind of safety reason ?

i would love to get 512mb but no.......
i will wait later to get another 256mb for dual channel...
I'll be getting these cpu's along with A7n8x Delx and 8rda+ but couldn't decide on memory.
there are so many out there.
one person has recommended Twinmos but still can't make up my mind between HyperX.....
I'm noob to O'C but want decent memory for good price under $50

this spam i've been gettin pops up always on top of any windows i have.
Even during when i'm gaming, i'm forced to return to desktop when i get spam.....this drives me nuts by the way
