Interesting, I didnt know that. All these years I thought of ASRock as Asus' budget division. And would summarily overlook their boards for that reason.

If your putting together a new sysytem sure go with UEFI. But if your talking about upgrading an existing bios to UEFI that just seems like way more trouble than its worth. My rule with Bios' is, if it aint broke dont fix it.
Panda and pretty much any cloud based AV is light enough on resources that there is really no excuse for not using it on top of whatever AV you currently have.
An argument can be made for the 670 if the prices were the same or comparable. But for 100+ bones cheaper not to mention the 7950's game bundle its a no brainer. With a mild overclock (1100) a 7950 is faster than a 680.
Everything in this post is wrong.
Nvidia's Surround is capable of doing what you want. They dont have to stretch the desktop. Do youre monitors have DVI connections? If so I'd go with the card below if its available in your area. Its always better to use the digital connection if at all possible...

Comes with 2 free games, if nothing else you can sell them on Ebay.
You also might be able to get a better deal on something used. Any AMD card from 5xxx series on up can drive up to six displays per card assuming it has the requisite...
Not to mention impeccable customer service. You'll have a hard time finding a retailer with a higher rating with that many reviews.

Malwarebytes blocks it. I have to temporarily disable website blocking in the Malwarebytes Module in order to go there. There may be other AVs and Firewalls that also block it.
If you have limited options sure. Otherwise there are better solutions. While the AC offers great cooling on GPU itself. It doesnt do much for VRMs and Memory. Not to mention with the Asus Matrix your guaranteed a better binned chip and superior components.
At this point...
If youre OCing the Saphire Dual-X that RS recommended is probably the best deal going among 7970s that come with the game bundle. If your not OCing just get the cheapest GHZ version you can find.
They're certainly more likely than the Vapor-X which has zero chance of getting coil whine (supposedly). A 7950 at 1100mhz beats a 680. If your going for 1200mhz the Twin Frozr is your best bet. If noise and possible chance of coil whine are deal breakers go with the Vapor-X. Its not a bad...

At one point EVGA could have had some pull with NVidia. But since the big boys joined the party (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte) the importance of "boutique" AIB partners has diminished.

Since he has no intention of overclocking himself thats a perfectly fine choice. It will be faster out of the box than any single GPU card on the market.
Since OP will be gaming at 1440p I would be looking at a 7950. The 660Ti begins to show its limitations at higher resolutions. Not to mention you can pick up a 7950 for $279 AR which is $20 cheaper that the 660Ti he was looking at.
If your overclocking there wont be many. The 7970 is faster clock for clock, faster out of the box and will be faster when both are overclocked. But aside from that its hard to beat the value of a 7950. Especially when you can get one for $279 after MIR which comes with Sleeping Dogs...

Kaspersky cant be beat protection wise. But there is a lot I dont like about the program either.
I use Opera and Bit Defender completely borks Opera as well. BD has a sleek interface and good protection but its way too heavy handed. I'd recommend Zonealarms free AV over BD. It uses Bit...
I was a faithful user of NOD32 for the better part of a decade. I would recommend it to anyone who asked about an AV. I bailed on it a couple of years ago after I got a nasty Trojan. I could no longer ignore how it had lagged behind the other major AVs including some of the free ones.
I...
This has been par for the course with ATI/AMD for some time now. Nvidia performance at launch usually isn't all that different than with later driver revisions. Sure there are improvements but for the most part NV doesnt leave much untapped performance on the table. With AMD on the other hand it...
