    DVD-R media for my NEC 2510A

    I just got this burner too. Is there any way you can burn 4x media at 8x with this drive? Also, is there a way i can make sure I can burn at 8x? Like i have the 2510A burner but Nero doesnt allow me to select anything above 4x and there are no indicators that 8x is my max speed.

    Your PSU is fine. I would suggest running prime95 under some lower settings. Like working from default speeds and work your way up.

    Yup 2100mhz is about 3000+ so i'm pretty pleased with that. But if i keep my FSB the same and just play around with the multiplier, could that corrupt my hard drive too? Keep in mind that my FSB and ratio's will be kept the same.

    First, thanks for all your posts! In regards to the ram, when i clock the bus to 200mhz, i set the ratio to 6/4 so the ram is still at DDR266 and PCI is 33mhz. Just to be sure, the hard drive corrupts only when messing with the ratio and taking the PCI higher than 33mhz. Is this right?

    I was under the impression that the PCI bus was locked on the NF7-S! I'm having a very similar problem with the bootup. If I have DDR266 ram, and wanted to overclock, what settings and ratio should i use? I'm currently doing 200 x 10.5 and ratio 6/4.

    I totally agree that the more cooling, the better. But i cant even get into windows at the STOCK 2500+ speeds! It loads windows but just before the login screen, i get a reboot. And it's a hard boot too since the hard drives spin down and spin up again.

    Just the retail heatsink/fan. The temps don't go beyond 45 celsius in the bios. And from reading other posts, many users were able to go even further than 3200+ using the retail heatsink/fan.
