It was a link in a really old thread that came up through google. Would be nice to be able to view the contents. Didn't actually notice it was aspx until you pointed it out; was probably something from the old forums. Regardless, shouldn't it not be leaking code anyways? Someone added that in...

AT Main Site Comment Notification system

It'll be great if there's some sort of notification when someone replies to a comment made for an AT article. I think that'll really help discussion, since currently the only way to see if there are responses are to keep going back and checking every so often. It could go into a control panel...

Bulldozer delayed again until "summer" *edit* AMD says it's not delayed

Llano sounds very promising. Killer app? Smoothly playing Sims, MMORPGs, random other games with no glitches. I need an upgrade, but will wait for Bulldozer before making a decision. Llano looks good too for a secondary laptop.

Enabling AHCI completely wrecked my o/c stability

Considering purchasing my first projector

I would check craigslist for a cheap used 5.1 receiver, and then a pair of polk monitor 30/50s, and monitor 10s for rear. That should run you a bit more than $300, but it's not a HTIB and you'll be far better positioned for upgrades.

Soundcard compatibility

Yes, they do work, and has been working for awhile. X-Fi Fatality. However, I did not test the expansion bay's remote, nor any/many EAX games. These seem to be in short supply these days.

Why are Pioneer's DVD burners cost more compared to other ones?

Plextors *used* to the the best. This was, however, when cd recording was huge. Right now, i'm guessing that they are milking the brand.

OCZ Agility or Kingston SSD for Boot Drive?

Get the larger drive, then schedule the wiper utility to run every month or so. That should be good enough. :) If it's me, however, I would wait a little. It looks like prices are changing direction, ie. no going up anymore, maybe a possibility to a downtrend next year? :)

Simple "console" games for integrated graphics

There's also a full catalogue of older PC games that will run spectacularly well on low end hardware. Just look for the top blockbuster lists of games that were all the range 5, 10 or even 15 years ago.

Team Fortress 2 - help (I don't know what to do...!!)

Don't do this unless you have some kind of suspicion, and definitely not if you have observed them shooting any large weapon (non-melee). By the way, I still think TF2 << TFC.

Video Cards go UP in price in last 6 months?

I had a Radeon DDR and it was fine. Heck, even the rage 3d's drivers were fine. On the other hand, a 7600gt I bought back in 06 caused a certain program's windows to flash when playing overlay video (in another program). That sucked.

How large are processor registers?

It depends on what architecture is being discussed as well. Some ISAs allow ALU ops on data that resides in main memory.

i3 pricing

If my electric stove gets 220v, why can't more 220v sockets be installed? I'll probably end up using that for my computer and other components with switched supplies. 220 v, 60 Hz would probably be more efficient than 220 v 50 Hz Europe uses. :)

GOP frak up looming in NY-23rd- rise of the extremists

Believe it or not, but manufacturing still makes up a huge part of the NY economy, particularly upstate. The taxes are killing them. Personally, where is the fiscally conservative party? You know that upstate is more conservative than NYC, right?

what's with all the 16:9 monitors now a days?

I refuse to buy 16:9 monitors. Can't fathom what the extra width would be useful for. Besides, for the same size, most 16:10 offers a larger surface area than a 16:9 would have.
